OK just saw today's episode. Yeah Amanda no redeeming qualities. You know you can hate Adam because he is so evil but then does something to make you like him again. When it's fun to dislike someone. But Amanda hard to figure out. But you know if I could wear a bathing suit like that I would never get out of it.

God Jamie is as dumb as a brick. How in God's name is he going to Medical school. JR kinda growing on me I hate to say it but I think he'd redeemable.

FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 13TH


JR refuses to believe that Di is Dixie.

After being told that Dixie is alive, Palmer collapses.

Erica stops Greg from calling the police on Greenlee after she is caught red handed.

Simone and Kendall confront Ryan about the affair they believe he is having behind Greenlee's back.

Tad is furious with Di for what she has done.

Krystal is unconvinced when Tad says he's almost sorry he found out that Di is Dixie.

Erica goes to Ryan telling him that having a vasectomy was a huge mistake.

Greenlee and Simone plan to break into the clinic and steal Ryan's sperm.

JR cannot understand how easily Palmer and Jamie are so willing to accept Di as Dixie when he cannot begin to.

Kendall tells JR to try and accept his mother.

Di admits that she is not really interested in reconciling with Tad after all this time.

Greenlee steals the keys to the fertility clinic.

Erica implores Greg to help Greenlee with her plan to have Ryan's baby.

Kendall catches both Simone and Greenlee red handed at the clinic but is swayed by Greenlee's passionate plea.

Greenlee, Kendall and Simone are caught by Josh Madden.

David is thrilled with the way his plan is going while Di feels pangs of guilt.

Ryan is enraged by David and ends up physically attacking him.

Tad has a heart to heart with Maria about Dixie.

JR storms in upon hearing the argument between Adam and Di and finds himself calling Di Mother.

Tad declares that he and Dixie are done with no plans of getting back together again.

how was everyone's weekend? Mine was okay, could have been better but hey I do have some things to be grateful for......like my brother. On Thursday he called to say he and his platton was in an "incident" over in Iraq and had to be sent to a hospital but THANKFULLY he only had a bloody nose and some scrapes. No hearing loss or concussions. THANK GOD!!! (an IED/road side bomb exploded real close to him and then some insurgents shot a rocket thier way and it exploded also really close to them).

So I had that to remind me how lucky I am to still have my brother with me because someone lost a son that day.

Anyways......have a good week everyone.

I'm so glad your brother is ok. My guess is your family was quite relieved to get a phone call saying all was fine. You are right though. Things like that put our day to day annoyances in perspective.

I'm not as up on my US geography as I should be so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, since PA is on the east coast isn't there some portion that borderst the Atlantic? Does anyone have an atlas?

That's right boys and girls! If you didn't get a chance to play in the first round and are looking for a creative outlet, we are going to be looking for people to apply to play round 2!

What is WPASADI you ask? Well let me tell ya! WPASADI stands for Wickedly Perfect Amazing Surviving Apprentice DIS Idol. My co-hosts, DemonLlama and Kaylajr - co-winners of WPASADI 1, want to find out which of you can survive and come out on top while we throw every creative challenge and curveball we can think of at you!

If you didn't follow the first game - 30 contestants started out in 5 teams of 6, then down to 3 teams and on to playing individually. They had challenges like creating the 5th WDW park, writing a screen play of a sequel to Snow White casting real DIS members, rewriting the lyrics to a song and even creating their own "As Seen On TV" product and pitch.

So if you think you are creative and like a good challenge, want to get to know your fellow DISers and just have a good time, this is your chance to join in! Past contestants are allowed to play again.

We will also be looking for people to sign up to judge entries! There will be 2 separate applications - one for contestants and one for judges. Copy and paste the proper application into a PM to me (no emails please!) and fill in your answers.

The next round of WPASADI will not be starting for a few weeks.. we will be updating everyone when the start date is set!

Christine I'm glad to hear your brother is ok. My brother (a soap opera in himself) is headed over for a few months in Sept. We'll have to start an AMC support group?

I'm anxious for this weeks episodes, I can't wait to see what happens with JR. I have a feeling there is going to be tons of mystery with Di. Yipeee!

Umm, PA is considered to be on the East Coast but has no actual coastline. New Jersey gets in the way of that.

The Delaware River runs between NJ & PA and it runs to the ocean. We're not far off, but we don't get the proverbial banana.

I would love to participate but am so busy with my summer grad school classes that I fear that I would not have the time to properly / thoroughly represent our group! Maybe someone else on our thread will be interested! Maybe I can join you on the next round - it sounds like fun!

This thing with Greenlee pretending to be Simone is completely over the top and totally ridiculous - now they are just insulting our intelligence. They gave Greenlee such a hard time about not having a doctor's referral and the appropriate medical tests before trying to "get a sample",etc., but yet when "Simone" showed up and just said "I want a baby - can you help me?" the nurse immediately said "we'll do everything that we can" and started showing her profiles of prospective donors??!! Come on!

I don't know how JR is going to buy the fact that Di is really Dixie - right after he got through telling her that she is his best friend - now he's going to find out that she is his mother and feel totally betrayed. I think that Stuart is going to be the only one to accept it, for awhile.

Maria is going to let Sam stay in PV so easily? Exactly where is he planning on staying - Tad already turned him down! Maybe he just assumes if he hangs around Tad or Joe long enough, one of them will give in? Tad's got his hands full with Jamie / Babe and now with Dixie - the last thing he needs is to be raising another teenage son!

How many times do we have to see Ryan storm into Zach's casino and play cards for no reason, throw a fit, and then storm out? zzzzzzzzz

I haven't posted in a while, but thought I would stop by to put in my .02 cents worth. Ryan is a jerk. Period. If I were to advise "Greenlee" I would tell her to dump him for what he has done and this is coming from a guy! I really, REALLY hope that she does manage to get pregnant with his baby. It would serve him right. That whole thing about him having the procedure was stupid. I am also sick of Ryan stomping around, having little nasty fits, getting angry and storming off. I know a lot of you ladies like him, but I say GROW UP RYAN.

This Dixie thing is kind of stupid too. Not sure if I want DI to be DeadDixie or not. Why would she stay away from a child who has been self-destructing for over 2 years unless she had memory loss. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I am 1/2 expecing Cady McClain to walk on set and slap DI silly.

The only things on the show lately I am enjoying is that Greenlee and Kendall and Simone are actually all pretty much getting along (for the most part) again. I am tired of the Greenlee and Kendall at each others throats stories.

Great questions. The whole Di/Dixie story line just doesn't make any sense. Where has she been for 3 years, why didn't she contact Tad or JR? Why of all ways to reveal herself would she choose to be Adam Jr's nanny.

I know that life in Pine Valley is not exactly the way most of us live day to day but there is usually somewhat of a reasonable explanation. I just hate this story line.

Yeah how is she gonna explain she was in prison. And why is she so angry at Tad. I mean she knows what JR did to Babe and I really didn't get why she was so PO'd at him. Yeah I wish to look like that when I'm a grandmother.

DD & I looked at each other yesterday and said that we thought all of Pine Valley either must be in an alternate universe or the writers have totally suspended reality.

Take your pick - Greenlee, Di/Dixie, Amanda or Miranda/Bess/little Adam/Ace/James/Billy Bob ...either they expect us to forget everything that's ever happened on the show or they think we're just plain stupid!

Lately, the show is on but no one is paying attention. I don't know why I even bother...except I'm hoping they send Maddie off by doing something awful to her.

Every time Di(xie) breaks into a chorus of "You are My Sunshine", my DH and I groan in agony!

Notice how Di(xie) made a point of mentioning that she needed to have surgery on her vocal chords, too (to explain why her voice is totally different from Cady McLain's)? She hasn't explained yet, though, how her physique is totally different from Dixie's - remember those tight outfits they used to dress Cady McLain in? This Di(xie) is much - shall we say - flatter - and taller than she "used to be". Also, I think that we were to have believed that Dixie was a natural blonde........but we know for a fact that Di's blonde came right out of the bottle that David gave her.........too many ridiculous, unanswered questions - I just don't get how the writers are going to expect us (much less the characters) to buy this!

Poor Palmer! I hope that he didn't really have a heart attack, when he learned that Dixie may be alive!

Did Dixie really used to walk around telling everyone to "HUSH", every five seconds?! I don't remember her doing that, nor do I remember her using any of those cutesy little expressions like "you boys are still fighting like a pair of pups" - huh?! Yeah, maybe she spoke to them like that, when JR and Jamie WERE little boys - but not in the recent past, when they've been pre-teens / teenagers! But the "hush" thing - if she tells one more person to "hush" on today's episode (OR breaks into another round of "You are My Sunshine"), I will throw something at the TV!

I'm with you, Sarge - they should ship Ryan off to the same place that they are sending Maddie of to - they are both brats! So tired of Ryan brooding and sulking and throwing things and knocking things over.

And the Amanda and Babe as bestest buddies thing? Please.
