I cannot stand Babe! I'm so glad JR knows now. She had the nerve to be mad at Josh for outing things. Uh, keep your pants on and you wouldn't have to worry about it. (I love Soap operas. )

While he was hanging out he came across the mini bar and apparently fell off the wagon and drank every one of those cute little bottles. In walks Bianca looking for Josh. JR is 100 sheets to wind at this point and she is trying to talk sense into him by giving him the life lessons speech, life sucks things happen but move on....yada yada yada. In walks Erica looking for Josh becasue by this time she finds out thru Adam that JR knows about the affair. She goes there looking to protect Josh but walks in on a very drunk JR (and great acting job by the way). JR wants to leave but Bianca and Erica will not let the drunk and oh so angry JR leave because Erica and Bianca will not let him hurt anyone again. Erica locks the door and protects herself with a pointy ram's head paperweight. JR feels like a caged animal so .......he jumps out the window.

Could someone post a synopsis of today's show since we didn't see it on the East Coast? Would love to have SoapNet but not on our cable.... I think they should have to rerun the shows early in the morning---at least I could tape it then.

Hi Everyone! So sorry that I haven't been around to post in so long - just very busy with school, etc.! But I've been keeping up with the show! I'm amongst the Easterners who didn't get to see today's episode due to the President's address. I hope that they re-run it for those of us who don't have Soap Net at some point! Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" to you all and wish those who are attending SSW a wonderful time and a safe trip! As always, please take lots of pictures (of yourselves, as well!) so that we can see! I promise to be better about keeping up with the thread, from now on! Have a great night!

P.S. Ignorant question (I should look back at everyone's previous posts to see if this has long since been answered): does anyone know if Bianca is back indefinitely? Or just for a few weeks? The fact that she mentioned that Maggie is cheating on her leads me to believe that she may be around for awhile........I hope so!

P.P.S. Does anyone else wish that Colby would be sent away to wherever they took Bratty Maddie and Sam??!!

P.P.P.S. Are Kendall and Zach really boring, lately, or is it just me?

Here in Colorado (which is Mountain time zone) they showed a September episode of The View rather than AMC. On the bottom of the screen it said that ABC was not showing AMC today and no episodes would be missed.

Colby is a brat, but I think she brings something to the show. Reminds me of Liza when she was younger - actually worse than Liza from what I can remember.

I don't like Erica & Jeff together. I would rather see her & Jack be happy, although I did like the chemistry between Brooke & Jack yesterday. I don't understand why they can't leave Brooke on the show & pair her & Jack up.

I love Reggie & wish he would have a storyline. Why can't he get back together with Danielle? I don't understand why that story came to an abrupt halt.

Kendall & Zach - I think I'm the only one that doesn't care if they're together or not. Just doesn't do it for me.

As far as Bianca. I'm not sure if she's around to stay. I didn't like the dress she had on yesterday (black one). She looked pregnant from the side. It was not flattering at all.

I too was glad that AMC was a repeat on SoapNet last night. I did not want to miss that episode!

Well I am heading over to Orlando tonight to meet up with Faith - she will be flying in this evening as well. We will get plenty of rest and then start our SSW Journey tomorrow with Luke and Laura!!

In what can only be described as a major upcoming storyline, soapcentral.com has learned that All My Children is planning a storyline that will whittle away several of the show's underused characters. Look out, Pine Valley residents: it appears that a serial killer is in your midst.


The first character to be killed off will be Simone, in an apparent suicide. Simone's death is set up to echo the drug overdose death of her late brother, Anthony. While everyone is convinced that Simone did, in fact, take her own life, Kendall has her doubts. As previously reported by soapcentral.com, All My Children executives have granted Terri Ivens' (Simone Torres) request to be let out of her contract.

Several weeks after Simone's on-screen demise, Connie Fletcher (Erin Lavery) will make her final appearance when her character is killed off.

All My Children fans also know that Emmy winner Julia Barr (Brooke English) has announced that she will be exiting the show by year's end. It is unclear if her exit will be tied into this storyline.

With several other performers in this contract-heavy cast also having little storyline, fans will no doubt begin to speculate which other stars may also fall victim to the killer.

Somehow figuring into this storyline is a "new" - but previously introduced - role. The character, "Zarf," appeared briefly on All My Children back in August when Josh and Babe tried to talk the rock star into appearing in a Fusion campaign. Now, actor Jeffrey Carlson has been asked to bring back Zarf as part of the regular cast.

The "serial killer" (perhaps more the technically accurate "mass murderer") storyline has become a staple of soap opera storytelling in recent years as a way to boost ratings -- and at the same time to trim characters and cut budgets. Earlier this year, As the World Turns featured a summer slasher storyline in which a handful of extras were killed off. Several years ago, Days of our Lives made waves when it killed off half a dozen high-profile characters - but the impact of the storyline was lost when the supposedly dead characters turned up very much alive on a mystery island. Closer to home, AMC's sister soap, One Life to Live, has played out two serial killer storylines in recent years and killed off one or two major characters.
