Hey Everyone!
Welcome back, Christine, our beloved Founder!

Hope that you have a chance to watch AMC, soon - it's been very good and eventful, lately!
"Substantive" and "insightful" comments, Jeannie???? I was worried that I was boring everyone to death with my incessant ramblings! Thank you for saying that, though!
I thought that the scenes with Liza, Tad, and Alfred Vanderpool were very cute! Good old Alfred! Though, like I said, I really think that her not having had contact with him in all these years is an "AMC historical inaccuracy" - I could SWEAR that he was helping her "hide the bankbooks", when she was embezzling money from Chandler Enterprises for Colby, last year, and only Mia knew. I distinctly remember her (and Tad!) calling him to help with some financial matters of some sort, within the past year or 2! And her new hairstyle looks very nice!
Faith - how are those puppies doing?

Yes, apparently Michael is still around and alive.......but what he's doing in Erica's apartment is another mystery!
Hi Pam! - I'm not a regular "Sex and the City" watcher, either (because we don't subscribe to HBO) but I am familiar with the show from DVD's. S&C is much better than the Fusion storylines, in my opinion (and they are much racier, too!). The main difference is that the 4 main characters on "S&C" are truly long-time friends.......not just 4 women thrown together by starting a new company on a whim.........so the bond between them is real and has a history. No matter what silliness they go through with men, the basis of the show is their friendship with one another and the fact that they are always there for eachother.........the Fusion women would spit in eachother's eyes and betray eachother for the sake of a "sexy man".......very sad.
Hi again, Jeannie! I thought that Simone's little fantasy scenes - though silly - were pretty comical - very campy! Only her character (or someone like Opal) could have pulled them off, 'cause she is so silly to start with! If Greenlee is "the new Erica", then Simone is definitely "the new Opal"! It's nice to have some comic relief on the show, even if Simone is basically a caricature! She does embarrass herself, too much, though!
Hi PNelson! Carlos's brother???? Oh no!! Does that mean that Carlos is going to be around for the long term??? At least this new guy is easier to "take" than Carlos! I really thought that he was going to wind up being a "guardian angel" or a figment of the imagination of the Fusion women........not a real person / regular character!
Hi Sherry and Deb!
Hi Erika! Yeah, I'm STILL wondering what Maggie was thinking when she got dressed (especially to go on a date!), wearing that crazy outfit! I don't know what's happened to the AMC costume department, lately - they're definitely living in another decade - between the women's clothes and Carlos's John Travolta outfits (he should be so lucky to look like John Travolta!)! As always, Greenlee's wardrobe is the only one which is always great, in my opinion!
When David told Anna that he felt that they could never work out, now that Leora is gone, I immediately thought (once again) "Anna and Jack ; Erica and David". As much as I want to see Erica and Jack finally get married, as Erika said, I don't think it's going to happen. If the Greenlee -being-Jack's-daughter secret doesn't kill their relationship, then Bianca's rediscovered anorexia will (remember - the last time she stopped eating was when Erica and Jack were engaged, the last time).
Just wanted to let everyone know that Aprille says "hello" and that she misses everyone, here!

Her work schedule has been so hectic that she's fallen behind in watching AMC episodes, and has to catch up, marathon-style, over the weekends. So she doesn't want to look at our thread too closely until she catches up. But she said that she will definitely post, when she's all caught up, and might start posting "thoughts for the week", similar to her "thoughts (and quotes) for the day"! Anyway, I'm sure that she will be stopping in, soon!
Have a great weekend, Everyone!
