AMC's Bianca May Get a Lover

It's about time! I just hope it will be someone believable, not Lena or that Frankie-thing. That never made sense.

Spoilers don't really seem to tell much do they?!

And did we figure out why they are no longer giving previews?

WOW! What a weekend I had! Got to FINALLY meet the Ambassador to the DIS-boards--DAN MURPHY!! What a really nice man, in a very TALL body! Also met a few others, like Robinrs and her DS Micheal, and Chrisitine of course and Princess Michelle--who REALLY looks like a Princess, but, without the Crown... Hi Michelle! I also got to meet the "single guy" Bob Brazeal! Also, went to Universal Studios....was NOT impressed with this park, Christine knows why! Also, Lars624 and her family and BSnyder I believe from Tampa and her DD Alison. Saw a little of the very BOOORRRIIINNNG Show today, and YES I heard BoydBoyd and busted out LOL!!

I may be getting confused, but didn't AMC have a lesbian before? It seems like Donna Pescoe (sp) played a role on there one time. Or is she gay in real life? My brain feels like mush right now.

I believe it was Donna's daughter that was a lesbian. I read that the lover Bianca will get is Lena-I read that in TV Guide-Can't stand Lena and will be glad when she is gone.

I wonder if they are going to do a story about Jaime stalking Browne Hair girl-What's her name?? Laurie?? Jodi?? Anways, he's kind of wierd the way he just goes up and kisses her and doesn't get the message. Could actually get interesting.

Bianca got Lena to admit they will have a real date together. Then Boyd talked to Lena and she told him how she likes men & women. I guess that will be the affair -- even though it's really just a scam on Lena's part.

Anyway -- I popped in to let everyone know I just heard that Mark Consuelos (aka Mateo) will play the part of a detective on tonight's Third Watch in case anyone wanted to watch.

They still show the previews on the SoapNet versions of the shows. On the regular ABC showing, they do a quick voiceover with some highlight of tomorrow's show. I think they are cutting back the time so Peter Jennings can cut in for the "war updates" between soap operas.

Hey Everyone!

I also think it would be great if Bianca got a "real" girlfriend / lover, Christine and Pembo - but someone other than Lena, who's just trying to scam Bianca. It would have been nice if she and Maggie had gotten together, because they were such good friends ("first"), but it would have been unbelievable because she was Frankie's identical twin. Maybe Bianca will meet someone nice at PVU.

I wish that I had been able to see the "Soap Opera Awards" - did any other AMC people win any awards, Pam?

Belated welcome, Eeyoreforever! Donna Pescow definitely played a lesbian on AMC in the late 70's / early 80's - she was a psychiatrist, and she had a relationship with Devon (Cliff's ex and Ellen's (?) daughter), who was her patient.

I agree with you, PNelson - it's totally weird how Jamie just walks up to Drone Chick and kisses her without even saying "hello"! And I can't believe Brooke's reaction to finding him making out with a hooker, in her living room - she calmly says "Jamie, you're a smart, attractive young man. Surely you could find someone better for company than a hooker....." or something like that.......wouldn't any other parent have gone ballistic about their child bringing a prostitute into their home??!!

I still can't get over the fact that Kendall is falling for Michael's deception hook, line, and sinker. I have a feeling that we will get to see some of the "old", not-very-nice Kendall, as soon as she starts catching on to his plot.

And Greenlee mooning over her evening of salsa dancing with Carlos is unbelievable to me, too. I'm telling you - if they turn into the next Hayley and Mateo and wind up buying SOS, I will be very disappointed!

Where have Tad and Lysistrata been, lately? We could use some laughs!

Erica-Chris-Jackson is becoming very boring to me.......I think that Jack is going to propose to Erica (for the 4 billionth time), today......

I am still catching up on the end of last week's shows, but I have a prediction on the Carlos/Greenlee relationship. I just have this feeling that Carlos will end up being richer than Greenlee. Moving to the USA to experience life or be away from his wealthy South American Oil Family, something. He is looking for someone who loves him and not his status.. He is constantly whinging over Greenlee not liking him because of his job... I could be wrong, but if I am right it could turn out intersting to have his family disapprove of Greenlee because she is too low-class for him..

This Michael thing was interesting, now it is getting boring, fast.. Kendall was shaping up to be a bright woman, now they are making her into a fool again. Boring.

Erica/Chris/Jack.. Sick of it.. SICK of it. FF material for sure and I rarely do that.. What more can I say. Again, they take a fun character (Chris) and turn him into a freak. I am tired of this old ploy. Don't the writers have any imagination?

If Bianca finds a 'lover' it had better not be Lena. They are going to be cutting edge and have a Lesbian storyline with one half of the couple being straight and playing the other for a fool. If that happens it will be really bad.

It snowed here this weekend.. When is spring going to come?

I would really like to.. It is hard to leave work though. I have been with my company for 15 years (well in Novemeber) too.. Someday we will be down there, maybe sooner than later. I hate winter...

He went through the JR Chandler style of metamorphasis and there were multiple actors that played him. After being dumped by someone, I forget wasn't it Laura.. He left for NYC to study his craft.

SGT, I've been having the same kind of thoughts about Carlos. That he's really a wealthy guy in disguise. I sort of thought that when they had the scenes with the woman Greenlee traced the e-mails to and then that woman called to report in to Carlos. I'm also still amazed how quickly he mastered English and lost his accent.

So, I guess today's "regular" showing was pre-empted since they showed a repeat of Tuesday's show on Soap Net?

They ran a banner teaser during the show that said something to the effect "Maria gets memory". I don't know if that means "a" memory or it all starts to come back.

Boyd sharing the secret formula with Bianca and stressing the importance of keeping it secret followed by her immediately blabbing to Lena seems a little contrived. And then Boyd telling Kendall that he knows Michael wants something, probably wants something from Erica....Gee Boyd, do you think it might be your SECRET formula? This whole storyline is getting pretty stale, hope it wraps up soon.

FYI -- ____ Kane of "All My Children" was a clue in today's New York Times crossword. Anyone know what the answer is. LOL!
