All moved in! FINALLY!!!!

Gosh, I am on cloud nine right now!!! I just cut about an hour and a half off of my driving time, by moving to the city. We moved an entire house full of furniture in 12 hours. Pictures are hung, candles are out, glasses are behind the bar, and shower curtains are hung. Not a thing left to do. I am really anal when it comes to moving. I have to have everything perfect.


-- Anyway, this morning I woke up and walked into my new living room to see the sun shining through the skylight and I just felt so peaceful. I walked into my new bedroom to find my sweetie sleeping with our little dog and all the world was right.

--We are both so happy! We were hugging and kissing last night at the check out lane and the women behind the register were like "Yau'll are just way too happy!!" We were like, "yes we are!"

--I am just so happy to be in a new town, have a new job, new apartment, new chance at life. The sun is shining for me today.

I'm happy for you, but boy, am I jealous! I moved 3 weeks ago and I certainly don't have the pictures hung yet!

First thing I do is set up the kitchen (so we can eat), the bathroom (so we can get ready for work) and my closet (so I have clothes for work). Everything else is gravy and even though I've been working my behind off every weekend, I'm still not done!

It'll come in time but I wish my move had been as smooth as yours. Congratulations on all your good fortune!

I'm very happy for you! I just wished I was as organized. I moved 3 weeks ago and still have boxes to unpack. Of course, that would be easier if I had furniture! Best of luck to you in your new home!

Congrats! I moved 3 months ago and there's still 3 boxes in DS's room to be unpacked. I refuse. He can do those. (Obiously it's going to be when he wants something from them!)

Kissing in the store? I hope it wasn't you two that entertained my son's group on their trip. I asked how the trip was. He said there was a guy and a girl making out. I told him he should have told them to grow up! LOL! What a "wonderful" impression for 11 year olds.

Lucky you. I am sitting here amongst a mountain of boxes and chaos. We move into our new home this week-which is right across the treet. Which makes it touch b/c I had to pack and we will have to move the boxes and furniture ourselves!! ugh

So glad things are going well for you. Remember this time when things aren't going so well!!

I'm with Dan...I've been here almost 17 yrs and I'm still looking for things in boxes up in the attic. I wish I had your dedication to getting things done. I am a huge procrastinater.
