Yes.

From what I’ve read people typically rope drop Peter Pan and Dwarves and you’d likely have long waits at Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise and Big Thunder, but the list is definitely doable.

If you opt for Genie+ and ILL it’s a bit easier of course.

Maybe … if you are there for rope drop, have Genie+ and buy an individual lightning lane for 7 Dwarves.

If I recall correctly, you will be using a scooter for mobility. I would make sure you familiarize yourself with using a scooter over on the DISAbilities board. I use a scooter at WDW. There are many rides that do not allow a scooter in line.

You will be able to get a free DAS-like return time for Jungle Cruise and Big Thunder Mountain because you can’t take the scooter in line. You can do other things while waiting for your return time.

Pirates may be a bigger problem because you can’t bring your scooter in line there either. I usually walk that line but they also have wheelchairs to transfer to but I think your wife would have to push you.

Peter Pan is another problem. I usually get a Genie+ LL for Pan which shortens the line. You will still need to walk a short way both on and off the ride. I don’t think they can really slow the walkway much if at all. You will also need to be able to walk up and down the ramp at the People Mover.

On Haunted Mansion, I’ve brought my scooter to the stretch room and I’ve been back door’d into a Doom Buggy. But, I can walk a ways so I usually go through the regular line.

There is a special viewing area for the fireworks which, I think, is first come first served. The entrance is on the right side of the hub.

Everything else on your list is roll on/ roll off.

Use LL for Pan, Pooh, Mermaid, Haunted and Pirates. Yes, I know it’s ridiculously expensive but you’ll need the extra time saved. I found that using a scooter takes more time than before I needed one. You’ll need to take that into account.

Also, be very aware of transportation times to the park. I try to get to the bus stop early because buses can only take up to 2 scooters. I have been left behind because there was no room for me.

Yes, mid September would be easier than October as September is a lighter crowd month. And if you buy G+ and/or iLL$, you'll have a better chance. However, if you do G+, you need to decide is JC or PP more of a priority as you likely won't get a LL for both so you'll need to RD PP and try to get JC for G+ and prioritize your G+ from there. All doable but you're definitely packing in a lot.

The OP uses a scooter so she will be able to get a DAS-like return time for Jungle Cruise. So, she doesn't need to prioritize Peter Pan and Jungle Cruise. Jungle Cruise takes care of itself.

I think it could be done, but it would be a very long and hot day and not give you a chance for a mid-day break during the heat of the day.

To see the fireworks, it would have to be a non party day during peak party season, so crowds will be higher and you’d need to be getting in place by 8 to secure your spot.

That will affect overall wait times and the ability to maneuver through the parks.

The parade will chew up an hour.

Then add in the run time for all of the shows, and it’s a lot.
Carousel - 21 minutes
Tiki - 16 minutes
Country Bear - 16 minutes
Philharmagic - 12 minutes

That’s over an hour of show times not counting having to wait for them to start or move between them and exit.

Plus, a lot of the rides you’ve mentioned are on the longer side.

I would say rope drop would be essential, but probably more important would be buying ILL and Genie+.

I think it could work, but maybe try to put a few things on your ‘wish’ list and not your must do list. Have a great trip!

You know as long as I'm stuck over here in satan's arm pit (phoenix) I really should visit Disneyland at some point before I make my wife move back to Louisville to be closer to Disney.

You really should! It’s the BEST Disney park in North America hands down (can’t speak for international), but you can’t beat the park Walt originally built! It has exclusive rides like Radiator springs, Matterhorn, Alice in Wonderland, all the old fantasyland rides like me Toad, and even Fantasmic.

I've just always been worried I would be disappointed after so many trips to Disney World. No Epcot, no Animal Kingdom... no amazing resturants...

I went to WDW many times as a kid, but I like Disneyland the best as a stand-alone park. There’s over 40 rides!

So it's not like a trip to six flags? That's my real fear I think. I grew up going to Kings Island, Six Flags and Operyland and I'm worried it will feel more like that then Disney.

No way, it’s very magical. They cram a lot of theming and Easter eggs everywhere. Remember this is the park Walt originally built.
