Hi everyone!

Is it possible to see everything at Seaworld in a day in mid-July, plus get pretty good seats at the shows (waiting time involved)? I know we get to go on a 2nd day for free, but was sort of hoping to just relax by the pool and get away from the heat! We're also planning to do the character breakfast and dining with Shamu. Is it all too much for one day? Do we have to come back the 2nd day?

Thanks!

We did it 2 years ago on July 4th. Even got to ride Kraken and Atlantis 2 times that day. My kids fed the dolphins and we saw every show which we wanted to see. We had lunch and dinner there also. You may have a little less time because of the Shamu dining, not sure how long that lasts. Have fun and if you don't get to do everything at least you know you can go back the next day, even if it is just for a few things you want to see again or may have missed the first.

That's where we are too - can we see it on one day? - will be the last day of a long trip - Sept 29 - Oct 9, DW, Oct 10 - 15 Hard Rock Hotel, with Oct 14 at Sea World. Park is open until 10pm, and with resort bus we will be there about 11am. Shoud we try and do another day earlier in addition to ensure we see it all? Thanks.

Read old posts here. Decide which shows are the must see. The 2 special meals will be at set times and actually may make it a little more difficult to schedule in the shows.
Then just go and see what you can. Enjoying what you do see at SW is more important than the sort of commando seeing it all. At SW you need to take time to enjoy the family's smiles when they feed the dolphin, watch the shows, get splashed by Shamu, etc.
For both posters I would say you will get to see only some of the wonders of SW in a day. July will also be very hot and it will rain while you are there. We get afternoon showers almost every day. They usually don't last long, but they can be intense thunderstorms that you need to avoid the lightning by staying indoors till it passes. By late afternoon the crankiness from the heat appears in both adults and children, too. You might want to schedule all the things you can see and do in the airconditioned areas for then and let the kids rest a little.
If you do decide on a second day you could still do the relaxing day at the pool and return to the park in the mid afternoon on the second day since some of the shows do have later times during the summer.

What we did is go the first day until about 2 and went back to hotel for pool etc. and then went back the next day about 3 to see the evening shows and whatever else we missed or wanted to see again.

I really liked that we didn't have to rush around too much.
