Thanks for the
Disney Store pictures it is always nice to see a little bit of Disney. Between the Zoo and the Mall pictures I am ready for a trip to Nashville. When Opryland was there DH and I would go to Nashville about every other year. Since they closed the park I think we have only been one time.
I think there are a lot of people who used to come to Nashville for Opryland who no longer come. Dolly is putting up some kind of park over there - some kind of super-duper waterpark to start with, I think, so maybe we'll have something to draw people back within the next couple of years. I don't know the details, but there is something in the works.
When you come, let us know, and we'll have a hippo meet.
Looks like a great time was had by all!
I believe everyone had a nice day. John probably enjoyed it the least. His excitement built when he got the message that Trent and Jarvis were waiting for him to come to the house so they could all go eat at Ghengis Grill.

Each person's idea of fun us different, right?
Wowwww, you got some awesome pictures! Nashville Zoo looks awesome. The dinosaur area also looks awesome. I can't imagine taking Kailyn through there...she is SO scared of dinosaurs. It looks really interesting, though!
It was a pretty cool exhibit, I must say, and I am not into dinosaurs at all. The girls enjoyed it. We walked the trail at the beginning and at the end of the day. For one fee, they stamped your hand to go as much as you wanted.
What fun!! The mall looks fun & the zoo was a blast, I bet! It's nice to have your Disney store nearby!!
Have a great day!!
It is nice to have Disney Store back. We won't go often, but it's nice to have the 'fix' when we need it.
Our zoo does continue to improve.
I loved the Opry Mill and Zoo pictures. Brooklyn and Abby are quite different in one aspect. If Abby knows she gets to pick something out, she won’t leave until she picks something. I always try to tell her she doesn’t have to get something if it isn’t what she wants. But, she promises me it is exactly what she wants, but I know it isn’t. I love that Brooklyn waits for that something special.
Is Jill finding out if she will be having a boy or girl? Is she telling the DIS world if she does find out.
Jill – you look great! Your belly is adorable with Baby #3 in there. Mean that in the least wierd way possible
You can see it in Brooklynn's face - when she sees what she wants, she becomes slightly obsessed. She circles other aisles and other things, but she comes back to the object of affection several times. She truly does agonize over narrowing it down to one thing, though.
Jill will find out at her April visit next week, and as far as I know, she does not plan to keep it a secret from our DIS friends.
Looks like it was a great weekend. The Nashville Zoo sure does look great! I can't wait to move to AL in August so we can visit the different states and such. Being way down here in the bottom of Florida makes it very difficult.
I hope you enjoy exploring our neck of the woods.
I wonder if you will miss the palm trees like I do.
Hi MeMom! I really enjoyed getting that picture yesterday! I actually had an exciting weekend-we were in St. Louis. So, yesterday we went to the mall and stopped at the Disney store! It was so great to finally see Disney merchandise again. I ended up getting a Minnie tank top and Mickey coffee mug.
Thanks for all the mall pictures! I'm so happy it's open again.
We'll be happy when you come back through here again, too.
What all did you do in St. Louis?
Looks like a wonderful weekend for you all!!
The mall looks like it has a lot for the little ones. That is great! The Disney store looks great. Ours is so teeny tiny.
That is so cute how Bella carried that twirly Cinderella toy around with her.
Great zoo pics! Aw poor Bella did not like getting squirted with water.
That Brooklynn is too funny exchanging the dinosaur because of no mouth.
I think the cougar is cuter anyway.
Hopefully Anita is all safe & no storm damage!!
The water squirting dino surprised me, but it messed with Bella's mind. She was not a bit happy. Those dinos were huge, anyway, and some were loud, and she's tiny compared to them, so add in the surprise water, and she might have been convinced they were real for a few minutes. After the squirting, I held her, and she tensed up as she saw each one. She wasn't crying any more, but she was very wary. After we got to the little ones and she got down for a minute, she forgot about her fears and walked on.
Jill and I liked the cougar, too. That was the kids' school mascot.
Looked like an awesome weekend!
Happy days are here again....

....you have your Disney store back again!!!
I almost bough Merryweather, Flora and Fauna. I wanted them for my car.
I love looking around in Rainforest Cafe. There's so much to take in. Good food too.
Lexi always finds an animal to take home with her.
Cute pic with Bella and "Cafe". She says the funniest things.
I enjoyed the zoo pics. They did a great job with the dino trail.
I could look at the monkeys and tigers all day. Red Panda is cool looking.
The pig looking thing looks like he is wearing high heels.
Snake skin...
True story: a few weeks back I was at cash and ringing in a customer when I looked up and a man in line had a snake wrapped around his neck.
I was startled and may have squealed. I tried to remain calm and tell myself I can ignore it but I just couldn't.
I had to call for a co worker and excuse myself..I went to my office and hid like a baby.
I was so scared I couldn't even speak to tell him he couldn't bring an animal into the store. I hope he never returns.
I added another ADR to the May trip on the weekend. Liberty Tree.
I bet we will be very hungry when we arrive and lunch there sounded perfect.
The New England Pot Roast is calling to me, Lexi LOVES the Angus Cheeseburger (she claims it to be the best at WDW) and my DMom always enjoys the Colony Salad.
I don't notice anything strange here on the DIS right now...
I think I missed seeing several posts in the last couple of days, and I've been logged in as three different DIS people, even when I wasn't even logged in period! Things seem to be okay this morning.
The red panda was the one picture Brooklynn commented on. She said, "Seriously, MeMom, that's the best you could do on the red panda?"
We quite enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern, but it's been a while since we've been there. We were there just before they stopped having characters.
I don't have any big fear of snakes, unless I am in a close area with them

, but I might have been a little shocked to see one around someone's neck in a store!
I LOVE the hidden Mickey shirt that Jill wore to the Disney Store!!!!
Who needs decor at Disney? The merchandise is eye candy enough!!!
Your zoo is fabulous!
I thought Jill had got that shirt in Disney World, but she said it's from Old Navy. It's just an 'accidental Hidden Mickey' shirt. Pretty cool, huh???
I would like for our Disney Store to have the fun big figures, but the lights are cool, and we'll take what we can get. We're just glad to have them back.
I hope our zoo continues to build up and make improvements. It used to be fields and 'cages', and now they are doing better at putting a theme to each area.
