All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Is it just me, or has Brooklynn's hair gotten darker? :confused3

Her hair is definitely getting darker as she gets older. It is also getting curlier. Every time we get it cut her underneath layers get curlier and the top layer just stays straight. It is crazy hair to try and manage. Luckily she is not as tenderheaded as she used to be.

Hair issues. I think she thought something had flown into her hair.

IMG_7186.jpg

Brooklynn had given her a red flower she had picked up on the path and Jasmine put it in her hair.

Soon we'll be looking at "Baby Skipper Jon Jones" party pictures! :lmao: That is a great name! I would love to hear the story behind that!

Skippy Jon Jones is a character in one of Bella's favorite book series. He is a Siamese cat who thinks he is a chiuahua.

I had asked Bella what she thought we should name the baby and she told me she wanted to name it Baby Claire. (My best friend has a 1 year old, Claire, who my girl's refer to as Baby Claire.) I told her we couldn't name her Baby Claire because Mrs. Knight has a Baby Claire and wouldn't that be confusing. So she said fine then it will be Baby Skippy Jon Jones. I will try to get some video of her saying it because it is pretty adorable in her little pixie sized voice.

A very pretty Belle with some pretty cute girls as well!!

I hope you enjoyed your Monday of Spring Break.

Monday and Tuesday have both been very productive. :thumbsup2

I love Bella's spikey piggy tails!!! So cute! And I think that that is the prettiest Belle I have seen. I can honestly say that I have never seen Jasmine in her winter coat. It must've been chilly that day. But, Jasmine does have a skimpy outfit, so she probably gets cold more easily than the other princesses.

It was a bit cool, I guess, since the girls both still have their coats on.

I thought she was the perfect Belle!

Cara - keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I told her to keep us posted. If she tells me anything, I will let the rest know.

Happy Spring Break Memom !!!!!!

What a treat to come back to the boards for all of these updates. The birthday party looks like so much fun. I can't believe how much older Bella looks - she is loosing the baby face look and looking like a little girl now.

I think that World Showcase if my absolute favorite part of Disney. There is so much to see, and of course there is shopping Your pics are so great - kind of took me on a mini vacation in my mind

Things have been kind of crazy around here - both Chloe and I had strep last week She was out of school for 4 days, and I was out of work for 2 days. Friday was the worst - ughh!!!!! I ended up getting 2 shots of penicillin (ouch), but thankfully the worst has passed.

Hope you have a wonderful Spring Break !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you were sick. I used to get strep often when I was young.

I enjoy exploring World Showcase, but there is sooooo much to see, it takes days and days.

momof2TNboys - Your family will be in my prayers.

Bella's party looks like it was a blast! Jill your cake looks incredible! I can't get over how grown up Brooklynn and Bella look!!! Time flies! Soon we'll be looking at "Baby Skipper Jon Jones" party pictures! That is a great name! I would love to hear the story behind that!

That is a really nice picture of the girls with Belle! Nice to take a break from the house work to visit World Showcase with your family!

Skippy Jon Jones is a favorite book character of many little kids. Jill said Bella's teacher loves the books, so Bella hears them at school often.

Cara, I'm so sorry that you are going through this hard time with your dad. Just know that we are thinking of you and praying for you all....

I did message her that we were all thinking of her. She sent her thanks. :)

A walk through Morocco and pictures of pretty princesses (the little ones included) is a great way to start the morning.

80 more days until we can take another walk through World Showcase, if we happen to go to Epcot on Day 1. ;)

That has to be the most striking Belle I have seen.

She's perfect for that character.

Great pictures around World Showcase! You guys met some very pretty princesses that day, I agree!

Since Bella was on a roll for seeing the characters, we did a lot of that! ::yes::

Thanks for the trip through Morocco. I love World Showcase!

Me, too! No matter how many times I go, there is still more to see.

Brooklynn had given her a red flower she had picked up on the path and Jasmine put it in her hair.

Oh, yes, I forgot - this was the year of the flower. The girls looked for flowers (only ones already on the ground) to give several of the princesses. :lovestruc

Loved the pictures of the many details in Morocco. So much to see.

The girls look so sweet visiting with Jasmine. I love that the character take time with everyone.

That was truly the prettiest Belle I have ever seen. I need to show Michelle, Belle is her favorite.

Belle is pretty much Bella's favorite, too, I think. She's been on a Beauty and the Beast kick lately, Jill says, watching it numerous times. Brooklynn got a little put out with her last weekend, but Jill reminded her that she used to watch the same movie over and over again, too.

We have had some princesses that were better than others - some so, so sweet. We've had some that didn't really look the part as well as others, but we've never had one who has not been princesslike in her demeanor, as far as I can recall.

More time in World Showcase.

We were able to catch a bit here and there of some of the storytellers.

Our timing wasn't right to hear this storyteller.

You can read it for yourselves.

Bella and I moved toward the front of the park to hear a singing group while the others went to ride something. Probably Test Track.

Special holiday entertainment would be here momentarily.

Bella was asleep in the stroller as I walked through Mouse Gear.

When the music started, I went outside and sat on the wall in front of Mouse Gear, but it was incredibly loud, so I left after a short time.

I'm a newbie to the party, but I have "dis-stalked" for a while. Thought I should come out of hiding finally! I love reading your trip reports and it seems like this trip was just as fun as the rest. I can't wait to see Disney at Christmas this year!

Mouse Gears...I always spend a lot of time in here. It was fun getting to visit this morning. Thanks

I think it would be fun to do something neat with Brooklynn around World Showcase now, too. They have some little kits that you do things with. I've seen them, but I'm not sure what. I'll check into them this summer.

I'll look forward to seeing what you find out!
I've got a bit behind on the boards so I'm off to read all about a mermaid party for a special little girl :)

Ah Mouse Gears!! I do love that place. If my Visa could talk.....:)

I'll send you some tropical FL pictures this weekend. I'm going to Ft Myers for Easter as my aunt & uncle live there now. It's not Disney but I bet we'll hit a Disney store!! I may have to pick up some goodies for you & the girls & the new baby. :)

Have a great day!!

Oh how I love MouseGears. I seriously think we walked through that store every day on our trip!

That band outside of the fountain always does seem super loud to me as well! Maybe it's just the location? Or they're just playing at maximum volume!

Hi! I'm finally getting DIS time! I've basically been buried by school work since I got back from Disney :sad2: That's why I STILL haven't started my TR  I've been working on the first update all week, I just haven't had a chance to finish it or post it. I should get to it tonight!

Love the party pictures! Your parties always look so fun. The girls are getting so big!

My mom was in Alabama last week. She was on a business trip in Hollywood, but she flew into Huntsville.

Ben's job was to hold the couch in place.

IMG_9124.jpg

:rotfl: That's usually my dog's job too. Dogs are very good at that ;)

As we had been waiting, the taller guy in this group had made no secret of the fact that he thought Jasmine was hot. ;) I think he did end up having his picture made with her.

That just reminded me of something that happened this past trip. As we were walking through Morocco, some guy walked right into me. Why wasn't he paying attention? He was watching the belly dancer :rolleyes1 :lmao:

A little Off Kilter music.

I'm not a huge fan of Off Kilter but we usually try to catch some of their show each trip. DH really likes them. We noticed Jamie, the bagpipe player wasn't there. I see he wasn't there for you either. I miss him. He played well and was easy on the eyes.

Anyone know what happened to him?

Good evening everyone. I have been absent from the boards for a long time. I know Memom has been kind enough to ask for your prayers and I appreciate it. I am sitting in the hospital with my Dad right now. He will most likely not be alive much longer. He is a diabetic and has been on dialysis for a few years. He had a leg amputation last year and just had the other amputated a month ago. He was progressing slowly in rehab, but went downhill 4 days ago. He is in severe heart failure and liver failure. We are making him comfortable. I am asking if you all will pray for him to have peace and for our family. I sometimes do not know if I will cope anymore. Sorry to be a downer, but our family is suffering and we could use all your prayers. I miss being on the dis boards. I just have not had the heart. I did go to WDW when my Dad was moved to rehab and was doing well. My mom told me to go. We enjoyed it, but it was not the same. Memom, thanks for all your kind messages.

Oh Cara...:hug::hug::hug: for you and your family. I know this is so tough for everyone. Prayers for you to help you through this tough time. We are hear for you Cara.

Bellla' s pigtails are so cute. Such cute character pictures and of course the walk through Mousegears is always wonderful.

Well. we are cetainly glad you unstalked yourself and joined in! :cool1:

Disney World at Christmas is fabulous. A little crowded sometimes, but still fabulous. :santa:

More lovely strolling!

Yes, we know how you love those little toys, MeMom! You just can't resist them!

I will be adding a couple more packs to the collection in about 11 weeks. :goodvibes

Mouse Gears...I always spend a lot of time in here. It was fun getting to visit this morning. Thanks

Mouse Gear has about everything a person could want, doesn't it? ;)

I'll look forward to seeing what you find out!

I will definitely check into the World Showcase activity pack for Brooklynn this year.

The party was much fun. She is taking cupcakes to school today for her class. :cutie:

Yes, please, I will take a palm tree picture. Don't spend your hard-earned money on us, though. Have a great time with your family! I would love to be spending the weekend in Florida! :cool1:

They probably were playing at high volume. It was too much for me. I ended up going in Club Cool.

I don't have a clue. I think Wigd is our resident Off Kilter expert. Hope he's not sick. Maybe just traveling or having other work obligations.

Oh Cara... for you and your family. I know this is so tough for everyone. Prayers for you to help you through this tough time. We are hear for you Cara.

I'll be glad when Jill has time to put the PhotoPass pictures up, because I'm sure they got some good ones.

Memom, hope you are having a well deserved break from school. We are off for two weeks on Easter holidays, but work never seems far from the mind does it. :confused3The other night, i woke up at 3am in a panic, because i hadn't prepared a topic to talk about at circle time:rotfl::rotfl: I then realised we were on holidays and went back to sleep!!!
