All EMH, No EMH or a combo?

We are leaving in a few days :cool1: and I'm starting to rethink my plans.

I'm wondering if an "all emh" vacation would be a good thing -- basically we'd choose our parks by where the a.m. emh's are, make sure we get there early and just stay a few hours (figure we can do a lot on an emh a.m.) and then have time to hang out at the pool, watch some fireworks etc . . .

If we did the "all emh plan" it would look like this:

Saturday -- evening only -- Epcot (dinner at the R&C and illuminations)
Sunday -- emh a.m. at Epcot, dinner at Palio's
Monday -- a.m. at the water park -- dinner at Le Cellier OR a.m. emh at MGM, p.m. at the water park
Tuesday -- emh a.m. at M.K. very late breakfast at C.M.'s -- p.m. at a water park
Wednesday -- e.m.h. a.m. at A.K. -- dinner at the California Grill
Thursday -- emh a.m. at M.K. -- dinner at the Flying Fish
Friday -- e.m.h. a.m. at M.G.M., afternoon at the water park?
Saturday -- let DS pick his favorite park, go home in the afternoon.

I am a steer clear of EMH parks kind of guy.

Enjoy the trip; regardless how you do it, it is WDW, so fun it is!!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

We were at WDW from July 10-15th and ONLY went to EMH parks (except for Typhoon Lagoon). It looked something like this:

11th: AM emh at Magic Kingdom (stayed till noon).... 6pm PM emh at Epcot (stayed till midnight)

12th: lazed around at the hotel in AM...PM emh at MGM (our BEST night of the honeymoon!!!! If 'Mulch, Sweat and Shears' are playing you've GOT to check them out if you are in the 30 or over age group!!)

14th: AM at MK (no emh)... PM emh at MK

Basically, with the emh times we were able to ride all of the rides we wanted to, including the 'big' rides. In fact in most cases we were able to hit our big favs several times making use of standby and fastpass lines.

I bought the unofficial guide and read it... then ignored it. We managed to what we wanted to do and hit all of the major attractions without running around to a 'strict' schedule as promoted in the books.

So... although many swear that emh is a miserable experience in the summer, both times I've utilized them I've had a much more relaxed and enjoyable holiday than if I ran around according to someone else's 'proven plan'.

Just my .02 worth!

I too am an avoid EMH at all cost kind of guy. Back on Oct 04 we did a couple of EMH's and felt like the crowds it attracted made it not worth the trouble.
