All Day Dining - Gluten Free - worth it?

We may visit Sea World on our next Orlando trip. A member of our family must eat gluten free (Celiac Sprue). We are thinking of getting the All Day Dining deal for everyone. Do they offer enough options for a gluten free diner to make this worthwhile or is out-of-pocket a better choice, money-wise?

There are salads and fruit available at virtually all of the main dining establishments, so those items would be readily available.

Coffee, tea, bottled water, milk, soda, etc. are all included on the plan, and should be celiac friendly.

I am guessing most of the desserts would be out (unless pudding is not taboo) as most are cheescakes, carrot cakes, cookies, etc.

I am not really familiar with the no-no's on a celiac diet, but I think that some barbecue sauces might be an issue, so if that's the case, the meats at Voyageurs could be problematic. The pizza at the Terrace Garden Buffet is out, as would the pasta be. Are french fries allowed on their diet? They're available in many places throughout the park.

Eggs and bacon are on the breakfast menu and should be OK. They have sausage too, but I'm not sure on the fillers that might be in them. The muffins, french toast sticks would both have gluten in them.

Its hard to say if the plan would be worth it or not. It really depends on how happy they would be with salad, fruit, pickles, etc. and the breakfast items. And how much they are likely to drink during the day. Gluten is so hard to avoid at the theme parks....I feel for your family member!

I don't know all the gluten items. I know a simple run down of the foods at each location like Gina. I think out of the restaurants sea fire inn and mango joes would be the best options variety wise.

Voyagers is all BBQ
Spice mill is burgers
Terrace buffet is pizza and pasta
Then there is the seaport pizza which has side choices but serves only pizza entrees. I like this location best for grabbing a side and a drink.

I recently in May went on a field trip with my homeschool group. A lot of the moms don't eat gluten. But it was a half day so I'm sure they paid out of pocket. I could ask if there was enough variety that if it was all day if they would pay for all day dining.

Angelmom, that would be super-helpful, if you have an opportunity to ask. Thanks for posting your response. :)

Asked my friends and one said she packed a lunch for her girls. She said besides salad there was nothing they could eat.
