We are planning a day at IOA as part of our Disney trip with my 3 1/2 and 1 year olds. Unfortunately we are not staying at Universal so we don't have FOTL privileges. We will probably try to do some of the coasters on a baby swap, and then mostly kid appropriate rides. Ideally we will use the express passes where possible.

My question is if we get to the park at opening (9 am in November), is it reasonable to think we can do the park by mid afternoon and then get the kids home to nap and relax? Or is it more realistic to think we will need to be there until dinner time in order to get on all the rides we want to do?

I am just trying to make dinner plans and am wondering whether I'll need reservations at Disney or Universal. Thanks!

When in November do you plan on going?

Most of the month is fairly quiet, with a HUGE attendance spike Thanksgiving weekend. Otherwise it's possible to be done with the park by about 4 if you go leisurely and don't rush anything.

Thanksgiving Weekend meaning, the weekend before Thanksgiving, or the weekend after Thanksgiving?

The weekend before Thanksgiving is dead. The weekend after Thanksgiving is a madhouse.

We are going the second week in November. I think we will be there on a Tuesday. So I doubt it is a high traffic time. I was just thinking with the little ones a whole day and dinner might be a bit much so if we could make it out by 2 or so it would give them a break before dinner.
