After a few weeks of researching prices and deals, and then seeing the flights/deals sell out before our eyes we decided to book at the weekend! We originally were going as a group of 10 but 4 of the group would not agree to be flexible on there dates so we decided to go seperatly. So now there are 6 of us going (me, hubbie, DS who will be 5, DD who will be 20months ish, and my parents.

We managed to get a good deal staying at Art of Animation in the Ariel rooms. It was coming up cheaper than all stars and pop centry. But only for around the time we have booked for! So we are going on 7th Nov next year, flying with Virgin and with car hire.

I managed to barter the price down and also get the $100 gift cards per room so then added our park tickets as well and upgrade the car hire. We are also going to be using the V lounge at gatwick. Has anyone used that before is it good?

So now that its booked and all real....... let the planning commence!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

well done :cheer2::cheer2:
-how was art of animation cheaper than other values?
it's normally quite a bit more-especially on the vh site! :goodvibes

I don't know, we have been looking for weeks and all star was always coming up cheapest of Disney resorts. But when we were playing with dates I found a slot of about 4 days departure where the animation went down to 990 per person (when the allstar was at 1,200 per person) so I rang to double check and then managed to get them down some more! So even though it says you will find the best prices online that is clearly not always true! (That was through virgin who normally were coming up the most expensive!)

Its a great feeling when the planning comes together. Have a fantasmic time when it comes.

Yay!! Having just booked the rest of our trip last night I know just how exciting it can be :) Makes it feel so much more real! Happy planning :goodvibes
