Just made our final restaurant bookings so thought I'd share our Christmas itinerary with you. Couldn't wait for parade times to be published, but looking at trip reports from previous years it seems that the lights and Fantillusion were around sixish. So hope that these reservations will allow us on some nights to see the lights switched on, and go back to the parks after dinner to take advantage of 10 pm closing.
Me., DW, DD6
22nd Dec - down to London, planning on seeing lights and doing an open top bus tour. Staying at County Hall Travel Inn, just round corner from waterloo
23rd Dec - on to DLP via first class Eurostar. Staying at DLH, Dinner booked for inventions at 7.30 pm
24th Dec - Special Christmas Eve Dinner booked at Inventions, 6.30 pm
25th Dec - Lunch at Lucky Nugget. Christmas Character buffet at HNY in the evening, 8 pm (we normally just snack at lunchtime if at all - after a DLH breakfast - but it is Christmas)
26th Dec - Magical World of Tinkerbell Show
27th Dec - DS19 flying over to join us first thing in morning. Dinner booked at California Grill for 7.00 pm
28th Dec - lunch at Walts, then DS flies back and we're back on the Eurostar for a final night in London
29th Dec - ride on the London Eye before heading home
What do you reckon? sound like a reasonable Christmas plan? Do you think walking round the parks will give us any chance of not putting on several Christmas pounds?
