All AP holders can now get the Disney Dining Experience card good for 20% breakfast, lunch and diner at most full service restaurants. Black-out holiday dates apply. AP price for DDE is $50, cal 407-566-5858 to order. :) Note: WDW automated phone system still says FL residents.

Wow. That is interesting. I am a AP holder and a Florida Resident and I was told the cost was $70.00.

I know, it seemed to good to be true, since I live in Texas. But I called and ordered a DDE for $50. It must have just started.

Seems like there is a catch somewhere.

It is on the regular AP holder website site for 2005, under dining:

Is that 20% off just the AP holders meal or the entire check? For instance, my DS & I have AP's, DH does not. Would each of us have to have AP & the card?

lots more info on the theme park and stratagies board

check there

Do you have to have an activated AP to get this? (I only have a voucher until we go in April)
Thanks! :D

I am buying my AP when I get there on Jan 16, 2005. Can I buy the DDE card and get the discount immediately? I am only going to be there for 2 weeks.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the card expires when your AP expires or from the date you purchase the dining card?

Thanks Chuck. That is great. I better get my card ordered. We are there the first week of Feb. and that card will come in handy.

OK, I found the other thread with the answer to my question. Thanks everybody! :cool1:

Betty, I would call the number NOW and explain your situation. I doubt you will receive the card in the mail by then...so they could fax or email a confirmation for your trip. Since FL residents have always had to show their DL when using the card, we'll probably have to show an active AP when we use it, along with a DL. I'm just guessing...but it seems logical, to me.

Chuck is right, I just purchased mine, they said it would be 4-6 weeks for the mail. I will be in WDW in 3 weeks, so they're faxing a letter of confirmation to me which they said would entitle me to the discounts.

Thanks Chuck for the fabulous info!! Can I order DDE now even if I plan on buying my APs in 2 months or do I need the Aps before I can order it. (I definetly will be getting APs w/DVC discount. Thanks
