All Animals, All The Time.... BUT

...... as we were leaving she said" Swhoo, that was close":rotfl2: at least she didn't scream her lungs out, then we'd be on the "bad grandparents at the zoo threads":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Here's one that I took in St. Catherine's Park, Moscow, Russia. I've never seen ducks like this before (I have no idea what kind of ducks they are.)

Kim, who learned her lesson the hard way that the the zoo is not the best place to use up the rest of her black and white film. We looked at all the photos and said, "Hmmm... wonder what this was." You know that whole natural camoflauge stuff really works. ;)

These are some cows at a farm/pumpkin patch near St. Louis, Missouri

Found this gal out in my yard the other night. It's a black and yellow argiope spider. They're also known as banana spiders, yellow garden spiders, zipper spiders, golden orb weavers and writing spiders.

My girlfriend and I went for lunch last weekend at a cute restaurant outside the city called Pine Ridge Hollow. It's set on several acres of beautifully landscaped property. In one corner, almost hidden from view, was a small petting zoo for the kids. I couldn't resist this guy! (the pot-bellied pig just didn't do it for me!) This was the first time I've tried shooting in RAW and so I'm very unsure of the adjustments I made in Lightroom. I suspect I went a little too crazy - please feel free to comment (only way I'll learn!)

Keep her at your house... she looks like the one I "ran" into at Fantasia Gardens last year - the biggest darned spider I have ever seen in "real life" i.e not in captivity. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

i almost walked right into one of those in Charleston last fall, still gives me the creeps thinking about it...that thing was like one of Oblio's Australian spiders:lmao: they look like the ones we used to get on our tomato plants as well although it doesn't seem like they could live up north but bleeech anyway
