If I would like to get two FW contracts, one CCV (120pts) and one RVA (150pts).. do I get the discounts for 250+pts?
Does anyone have a guide that they can recommend? My guide doesn't know much about GWs since he has never sold one in his 15 years at DVC. I'm also a new DVC member (resale), and I have many questions to ask.
I need to stop reading these forums. Addonitis is real!!!

In the summer and fall incentives, the answer would have been yes, as they were on the same incentive structure. But with the winter incentives, they are different incentive offers, so I'm uncertain if it would be allowed. I would definitely ask your guide! If I would like to get two FW contracts, one CCV (120pts) and one RVA (150pts).. do I get the discounts for 250+pts?
The current incentives seem to be targeted to sell out CCV.... would you expect higher discounts for RIV after it?
I am ready to buy (FW), still undecided if the current incentives are truly worthy.... any thoughts?
thanks!I don’t think you are going to see much more than what you are seeing right now. IMO, the ROFR process is what appears to be helping sustain sales right now and I think they are willing to use that approach and sell sold out resorts until the market is back to where it was for RIV...prior to the pandemic.
Definitely ask if they'll let you combine the two to give you the higher incentive. It doesn't hurt to ask, and if they do, you'll get $25 off for RIV and $30 off for CCV.The current incentives seem to be targeted to sell out CCV.... would you expect higher discounts for RIV after it?

Issues with fixed week?
- Contracts are typically just for the FW points (if you need a couple extra points for an incentive tier they will bundle in the extra points, you only get these extra points back by cancelling the FW)
Could you please explain this to me? For example, my FW requires 173 points and I would need 27 points to get hit the 200 point incentive. Would I be able to use those 27 points to book a night before or after the FW?
Also, let's say I need to cancel a FW and plan to use the points as regular points, how far in advance do I need to cancel that FW?
Technically, you would not be able to buy a small 27-point contract on top of the fixed week, as Disney requires a minimum of 50 points for an add-on at RIV or CCV. That said, there WAS someone on this board whose Guide was able to escalate and get approval for a small add-on on top of the FW, so it may be worth asking if that's something you want to do.Could you please explain this to me? We fly and have found airfare is significantly cheaper mid-week.
How the USe Year works for the Fixed Weeks? If I want a FW in Dec, that also ties the UY? Thanks
Thanks!UY and FW are completely seperate and not connected.
Many will say it's better to have a UY closer to the FW. For me we have an April UY with a December FW for both of them.
Pick your UY based on your expected future travel times.
My FW has 2 extra points on it so no big deal for the 1 or 2 times we use that one (have two) but would be a huge negative to basically pay the FW premium and then another 20+ points as well.
Can you explain this again, your FW is actually 2 points higher than what it would typically cost? I know you did it for the incentive, I'm just surprised they did it.
