Hi, Diane! What a wonderful day you had at Animal Kingdom with hardly any waits!!! I am super envious!

I may have to eat at Jiko just so I can try the Kenyan Coffee Ice Cream! Holy moly! That is right up my alley!

It was a great day, thanks Jackie! The coffee ice cream was AWESOME!

Love the update. That filet at Jiko with the mac and cheese looks sooo yummy. I should not read these updates when I am hungry.

I love your Daisy and Donald shirts. I am happy that they finally have more Daisy merchandise available.

Great AK update. You got everything done without having to get up super early which is awesome. I love the Donald shirts and you know I have that Daisy shirt too . Kaylee has one too but she grew out of it. Splitting up for lunch is a good idea. At AK no one ever wants to eat at the same place. Jiko looks amazing, would love to try it sometime.

Thanks Nichole! Eric isn't very adventurous with his eating so AK is always a battle! You should definitely try Jiko!

On this morning we were heding back to the Magic Kingdom!

My happy boys ready for some fun!

We went down to the bus stop and waited FOREVER for a bus. For those of you who don't know, at the deluxe resorts, there is no corral to wait for the busses, everyone just waits in the same area....WELL because it took forever there were TONS of people waiting. Finally, a bus came and people were shoving but the driver said another one was right behind so we waited. Then 2 more busses came and we were smart for waiting because we were able to sit but boy was that a fiasco!!

We eventually arrived at the MK and Bryan and Tim ran to fastpass Space Mountain and the rest of us headed to Buzz Lightyear!

After our galactic adventure, we saw Chip and Dale right outside the exit!

Then we saw Stitch!

Up next were the tea cups, everyone but Tim and I rode, we DO NOT SPIN!

After the teacups, I had promised Lauren that I would ride It's a Small World with her so we went to do that!

I noticed that all the land behind the barriers had been cleared...

Matthew and Eric taking one for the team, this is not their favorite ride!

Bryan and Tim doing god knows what!......

After IASW, our families split up, we went over to ride BTMRR..

Next up was Pirate's....

After Pirates we got a text from Tim saying that they were heading to Space Mountain, so we said we would meet them over there. We saw this strange carriage on the way back into Tomorrowland...

Of course Space Mountain brokedown about 2 minutes before we got on and we had to wait! Finally we were able to ride then we all went on The TTA...

At this point, we were all hungry so we went over to Pecos Bills for lunch, stopping to take this picture first!

I am not a big fan of the new way they handle the dining in this place, you are not allowed to sit until you have you food...it makes for VERY crowded and chaotic conditions especially in the crowded summer time!!!

We all enjoyed our meals!

After lunch we headed back over to BTMRR using a fastpass we had collected!

Next up was Splash Mountain and it was fun because we had a log all to ourselves!!

Everyone was getting tired so we made our way to exit the park but not before a stop in the gift shop...

A coke float for the boys....

Then we made our way to the bus stop! Our friend the duck was still there!

Before we knew it, a bus was there and we went back to teh AKL to swim and rest before a GREAT night out!

The bus fiasco does not sound like a very pleasant experience, it would be nice if people would learn patience in such situations, but luckily you guys didn't have to wait for long.

It sounds like you had a very productive day already and I can't wait to hear what you did for the night

Fun morning at the Magic Kingdom! What an interesting carriage/stroller thing -- I have never seen one of those before!

Coke floats always taste so good at Disney!

I didn't know Pecos Bill's was doing that with the seating now! We always send one of us to grab a table while the other is ordering.

I wonder what happened with the buses that morning.
Is the seating at Pecos Bill like that all the time? I would think it would be easier for most of a group to sit while one or two went for food. That way the line isn't crowded.

Jasmine would agree 100% with the boys....she feels the same way about IASW.....it's down for rehab when we're there so she was doing the happy dance

I cannot do the teacups....did them once and was out of commission for the rest of the day!!

Great updates ! I had to catch up after being on vacation last week. Congratulations on the job ... that is good news ! I love all the pics especially the ones trying on kimonos and Eric in his safari hat. I am definitely going to try Jiko's after seeing your pics.

Getting all caugh up! What a great looking AM in AK. Man did y'all get soaked on Kali! That is why I avoid that ride...maybe once i have kids I will do your trick and do it right before we leave the park.

Jiko looked like a great meal...it is personally one of my favs on property. The picture of you and Bryan outside is a really nice picture along with the one of you and Lesley.

You day in MK looks like fun. It is so neat that your family and Lesley's gets along so well. The kids really seem to have fun with each other and take some great pictures together.

really enjoying your trip report, diane. especially what your boys enjoy doing. i've got a DS 7 and DD5 & have picked up some great tips based off of your stories. but i have to tell you that i have been misreading the title. instead of 'Trip Report! Tons of pics'... i've been reading 'Tritons of pics'. thinking, 'i guess a triton is a gigantic amount...'

silly me. but keep those pics coming. your family is too cute! and we leave for the world next month, so your/timandlesley's TR has gotten me all excited!

I don't know about Peco's Bills, it wsn't like that in April, I used the bathroom there and people were sitting and waiting! Maybe just during the busy summer!

So we left off back at the AKL! We were exhausted and crashed HARD! After a refreshing shower and nap, we got up and got ready for our dinner at 1900 Park Fare, a first for us!

We decided to drive to the Grand Floridian and got to valet park for free again with the TIW card!

We walked in and immediately took in the sights and looked for the Teddy Bear Lady! Sadly, she wasn't here on this night!

I went over and checked in, we were told it would be a bit so we went and just listened to the piano player in the lobby and relaxed!

Before we knew it, we were paged and our adventure began!

the decor was pretty...

The atmosphere in here was so fun! We ordered our drinks and then went up to get our food! We enjoyed the food and thought it was pretty good!

Prince Charming was the first character and we all thought he was pretty average looking, he was also VERY BLAH!

Next up was Cinderella and she was beautiful! Both of the boys blushed when she told them how handsome they were....

Next up was the Evil Stepmother and although she is suppossed to be mean, I thought she was pretty attractive looking! She really got into it with the boys, saying how her daughters were much more of a catch then Cinderella!

Then the first sister came over ( I forgot her name!) and she plopped herself right next to Eric....

She asked Eric which one of the boys was going to marrry her and Eric pointed to an embarrassed Matthew!

Then they posed with her....

Then Matthew was left with this...and COMPLETELY EMBARASSED!!

After the first sister left , we all composed ourselves and regrouped for the second sister!

Matthew was ready for anything!

This sister was funny too, she read Matthew the riot act because he let her sister kiss him!

Overall, it ws a VERY fun meal! We enjoyed it!

After dinner the boys changed out of their handsome shirts before we headed over to the Magic Kingdom!

So we left the Grand Floridian on the monorail and got to the Magic Kingdom and MAN was it CROWDED!!! We were hoping to ride the TTA but there was a line!!!

At this point we had gotten a text from Lesley saying that they were on their way to the MK from the Poly where they had dinner! We waited for them!

When they got htere, we all rode Buzz together then headed over to Sleepy Hollow to stake out some parade watching spots!

Too funny but this CM saw me getting ready to take a picture and popped into view....

The same CM came back and gave the kids some hula hoops...

Matthew relaxed after his exciting dinner!

Eric and Tim were deep in conversation about a remote place called Fleetch Island! It was all very secretive!

Then the parade was about to start!

Some parade shots, we LOVED it!

This next float was funny, the CM sitting on top, saw that Tim had his shoes off and said "Hey, that guy lost his shoes!"

After the parade we decided not to stick around for the fireworks, it was PACKED...JAM PACKED!!!

We fought our way through the crowds to the monorail...

We actually ended up with a pretty decent view of the fireworks from the monorail!

We got off at the GF and drove back with to the AKL!

Our friends came and had a drink and some laughs with us in our room, to say goodbye!

It was a GREAT way to end such a fun day! We were sad that they were leaving the next morning but knew that we would see them in New Jersey in just 4 short weeks!

1900 Park Fare is one of my favorite character meals since they added the stepsisters and the wicked stepmother. They are so full of fun...they crack me up!

Love that Matthew got the big smooch....too funny!!
