All Aboard! A Disney and Orlando Unleashed TR!TONS of PICS! Update 1/2 pg 25

Oooh I'm so happy to see a report on 1900 PF. I plan to do that with my boys when we go next year. How was the food??

Thanks! The food was OK, typical Disney buffet fare but the character interaction was GREAT!

IMG_1715.jpg

Look at that fist, clenching the napkin!! "ready for anything" eh? :rotfl:

I love your boys' shirts...AND their wonderful attitudes that night about the stepsisters! Great fun!

Too funny about the clenched fist, I never noticed that before! They really were good sports that night!

Great update!

The Grand Floridian looks beautiful and 1900 Park Fare sounds like a riot.

Too sad to hear that Lesley and her family's trip was over, but i'm looking forward to hearing about the rest of yours:goodvibes

Thanks it was a great night!

I love it that your boys interacted with the characters, mine at that age didn't want any part of the characters. I just loved the embarrassing kiss, that was cute. :lmao:

Thanks so much! I was surprised that they reacted so well! It sure was fun!

1900 Park Fare looks GREAT! :thumbsup2 It looks like a lot of fun. And that kiss! So cute! His face is positively tomato red! :cutie:

He was VERY red wasn't he! Thanks, it was fun!

That is great news; congratulations!!! :yay:

Thanks!

They seriously need to clean that screen! :rolleyes1

they sure do!

Aw, so sweet! :lovestruc

Thanks!

Lookin' good! :thumbsup2

Thanks again!

I love how red Matthew's face is, and he hasn't even gotten kissed yet! :rotfl2:

Funny isn't it!

Great updates! Reading about your trip is getting me excited for my trip coming up!:cheer2:

Thanks so much and I'm glad you are enjoying the report!

Oh fun!!!!!

We like Park Fare....my son is smitten with those stepsisters. :)

It is alot of fun there isn't it?

What a great time at 1900 Park Fare! Too funny that one of the stepsisters kissed Matthew and left all that lipstick on him!!!

Hurray for the Main Street Electrical Parade! Glad you loved it! It's my favorite parade EVER!

It's always sad to have to say good-bye to friends!

Thanks Jackie! We LOVED the parade! I like the music alot!

I loved your update and pics! The boys handled dinner at 1900 Park very well. LOL about Matthew getting kissed! Thomas probably would have been crying over that. The step sisters are so funny aren't they? I love your pics from Main St Electrical Parade. I have to ask, which nighttime parade do you like better, Spectro or MSE?? I'm sure your families :sad2: were sad to say good bye but luckily it was not for long.

Hi Nichole! The boys did handle 1900 pretty well, I was happy about that! I think we liked the music from MSEP better but the floats from Spectro better. It was a nice change though!

What handsome boys you have! :lovestruc

They are such good sports and seem very well adjusted to all situations (read:first kiss)

A job well done Momma! :thumbsup2

How sweet, thank you so much! Thanks for reading/posting!

love your recent update!!! love how matthew got beat red and the kiss :) haha priceless

Thanks! It was priceless!

What a great updates. 1900 Park looks like such fun! And what great stories you'll have about the "first kiss."

If there has to be a last night, sounds like this was a good way to spend it. :thumbsup2

Thanks! Yes, Matthew can say he had his first kiss by an ugly stepsister!

Hey Diane!!!

I finally got myself back on track with DISing and all, where did the summer go!!! :sad2:

So I was gone for a few posts, so I will go back to your AK day, and just say it does look like you guys got some great touring in, and Nemo! Yay! :goodvibes Such a cute show! My guys are not big Dinosaur fans, too loud and jerky they say, but I love your photo! I thought your pics around dino land were cute. I love Eric's hat!

Pool side looks fun, gotta love those mugs...

The Simba's Club was really a treat for our kids too, they enjoyed it when we were there in Feb, and of course JIKO!!! VERY VERY GOOD! I agree with Jackie, that icecream looks AMAZINGLY tasty! Will have to give it a try in Nov (I got an ADR for Jiko! and cant wait!) You all look so nice and your pics are great! Pretty blouse!

SO the MK day also looks like a load of fun. So nice to see everyone having fun together, and that is SOOOOO cool that you guys fill an entire splash mountain log!!!! I love it!

Pecos Bill's we have never had lunch there, but I hear they have good burgers! I have to say I was howling with the photo of Matt and Eric "taking one for the team" with his "thumbs down" that was TOOOOOOOOO funny!!!!! :rotfl: Sigh. At least you can get yours ON Small World!!! Mine start gagging and gasping for air when I even mention it. :headache:

AND how adorable at 1900 Park Fare, so cute with Cinderella, and the "kiss" more like SMOOCH it looks like!! :rotfl: That is a great photo!!! And what a great end to the evening, a wonderful parade and send off drinks in the room!

I can see that you all had such a wonderful time together!!! Great luck to have such friends.

Looking forward to your next update!!

Are you teaching again this fall?

Hi Jen! WOW, thanks for all of the great comments! We did have a blast that last night! Yes, I am teaching in my own position finally! Middle School Health and Phys. Ed!:scared1:

On our 7th day at the world, we were headed to DHS! We made to DHS right at rope drop! My main goal for this day was to get pictures with the Toy Story characters over at Pixar Place! It didn't open until 10am so we had some time before we needed to get in line! Bryan ran ahead and fastpassed RNRC and then met up with us at the TOT!

Some fun shots.....

IMG_1803.jpg

IMG_1804.jpg

Bryan met back up with us and we headed in!

IMG_1805.jpg

The dreaded elevator....

IMG_1806.jpg

Just before our fun ride!

IMG_1807.jpg

After our ride, we decidd to head over to Pixar Place. I wanted to get in line early because this place had been MOBBED very early due to the movie just being released!

WELL, we were in line at about 9:30 so we had a half hour wait and there were about 15 people in front of us but directly in front of us were a family that had 3 boys. The youngest was crying and screaming and just throwing a fit. Well the oldest child kept saying "can't you shut him up?" to the parents and he was just being so rude and obnoxious and then he started pulling his baby brothers hair!!!!! The mom turns and sees this then SCREAMS at her son that she is taking him back to the room, so the boy probably about 8 or 9 starts crying and screaming and says "no way" so the mom grabs his arm and starts to take him out of line and then the father grabs the mothers arm and yells RIGHT in her face "I paid too much money for this trip, you are not taking him back to the room!!" Well the mom tells the boy he is acting like a "piece of ****"! I looked at Bryan completely dumbfounded!!!!

a stealth photo of them...

IMG_1811.jpg

Finally the line started moving and we got some really cute pictures! This line is so cute!...

IMG_1813.jpg

IMG_1814.jpg

IMG_1816.jpg

IMG_1817.jpg

IMG_1818.jpg

IMG_1822.jpg

Then we finally got to meet with Woody and Buzz!

IMG_1825.jpg

Buzz was funny because he saw that Matthew was wearing a Yankees shirt and Eric had on a Mets shirt so he grabbed them both by the shoulder and pointed back and forth and then took his fist and punched his hand! It was so funny!

After our fun time with Woody and Buzz, we went to use our fastpasses for Rock and Rollercoaster!

CONTINUED.....................

On our way over to RNRC, we ran into this streetmoshere guy!

IMG_1826.jpg

He was so funny!

IMG_1827.jpg

Next up was RNRC, Eric's new favorite!

IMG_1828.jpg

Ready to rock baby!!

IMG_1829.jpg

I promised myself I was going to try and relax on the take off and just enjoy it! WELL.................

IMG_1830.jpg

As you can see, I was NOT successful! We were in the very last car and man it was ROUGH!

Then we ran over to try and catch the 11am American Idol show!

IMG_1832.jpg

The show was great as always and there was a guy singer that was phenomenal! He won!

next up was lunch at Toy Story Pizza Planet!

IMG_1833.jpg

IMG_1834.jpg

IMG_1835.jpg

I know this place gets mixed reviews, but we really enjoy it, you get alot with your meal on the dining plan and the decor is cute!

After our lunch, we decided to digest with a ride on the Backlot tour!

IMG_1836.jpg

some props!

IMG_1841.jpg

IMG_1843.jpg

Walt's plane!

IMG_1847.jpg

Catastophe Canyon!

IMG_1849.jpg

IMG_1850.jpg

This was funny, in the store after the ride, the boys pretended to give each other the "best brother" award!

IMG_1852.jpg

After the tour, Bryan and Matthew wanted to draw at the Studio but Eric didn't so, Bryan and Matthew went to draw!

IMG_1854.jpg

Eric and I hit up some shops!

IMG_1855.jpg

My happy boy with his puffle pin purchase! This was a good deal I thought, it was $30 for 6 pins, that's 5 bucks a pin. You can't buy individual ones that cheap at WDW!

IMG_1857.jpg

At this point it was starting to get crowded and man was it HOT! Eric and I headed to see what the standby at TSM was...

IMG_1862.jpg

IMG_1861.jpg

IMG_1860.jpg

We decided to just get a snack, a drink and wait for Bryan and Matthew in the air conditioning!

IMG_1863.jpg

While waiting, there was no line for these guys so Eric hopped in!

IMG_1864.jpg

After we met back up with Bryan and Matthew, we deiced to make our way to the exit and head back to the AKL!

Here is a shot looking back at the crowd!

IMG_1858.jpg

A bus came pretty quickly and we were happy after a great morning at DHS! It was time to rest and get ready for our dinner!

Coming up...

Boma=YUM
Excuse me, how do you find the pool?

IMG_1827.jpg

Ohhh!! It makes me both happy AND sad to see this guy!!! He was Emil (among some other characters) at the Adventurer's Club!! I had hoped I would someday run into him at DHS, or any of the ex-Adventurers. And like I said, a little sad too....makes me realize how much I miss the place. :sad1:

Great update!

The pictures with the toy story characters are great, but that's awful the way the family in front of you chose to behave while in line. You wonder why some people even go to WDW at all.

Looking forward to more

Looks like a great day at DHS

I was thinking of trying Pizza Planet this trip, but was afraid be stuck in there trying to drag Trent away from the games.

Are the tables to eat right on top of the games there?

You had a fun morning at DHS! I can't get over how some people act at Disney! I am shocked by that family's behavior! :sad2: They certainly make our meltdowns look like nothing in comparison!

Cute pictures with Buzz and Woody! Score on the puffle pins! I am sure Eric was very pleased with them.

We really like Pizza Planet, too! There is something to be said for air conditioning and pizza. :thumbsup2

I don't blame you for escaping the heat and crowds by heading back to AKL!

Looks like you all had a great time at DHS :thumbsup2

Looking forward to the next installment popcorn::

Oops, I commented on that picture, and then forgot to comment on what a great update that was!!

Those Toy Story pictures are AWESOME!! When they are strapped to the rocket, did they really have straps around them? It looks like it

Great update Diane! I, too, try and relax on RNRC but my pictures always look like yours too! Last year we talked dd10 (but 9 at the time) into going on RNRC. She said to me "but mom what about when you go upside down, what do you do?" I replied in all my motherly wisdom...."I have my eyes closed because if you can't see it it's not really happening!" She thought I was kidding:lmao: I'm terrified to go upside down and have yet to see much in that ride because my eyes are closed anytime I think we may be headed the "wrong" direction.
Loved the "excellent" parenting skills of the people in front of you. Sure is hard to bite your tongue sometimes. Certainly doesn't do much for your kids to see that either. I remember my sister Queenofallthings once saying to her daughter "well you can't blame the kid when the mother is clearly an idiot!":lmao: I'm always too scared someone like that would just lash out at me too and I certainly don't need my day ruined. It's too bad you have to run into people like that. Love the pics from Pixar place:thumbsup2 Keep up the great work, can't wait for the next installment!

Wow that family in front of you was a piece of work ! Love all the TSM pics ...very cute. I like how you tried to stay relaxed on RnRC my face usually looks just like yours. At least you still ride ToT I can't take heights the older I get. Pizza planet is a favorite of my families, too.

I always liken the pictures of me on RnRC to how I would look if I had a bad face lift:lmao:

Wow....that's all I got....that family was a piece of work! Peg is right, I did utter those words to Jasmine a few trips ago when people were not being very "Disneylike" in front of us!!

Great update as usual Diane....really enjoying your report:worship:

Looks like a fun morning at DHS! Sorry RNR wasn't "relaxing" for you and the back does have a tendance to be a little rougher.

Looking forward to hearing about Boma.....yum!

Loved the update, Diane!! The boys are just so darn handsome! Loved the picture of them giving each other the 'Best Brother' award! It looked crazy crowded at DHS that day - but LOVED the 13 minute wait at the ToT!!

Great update Diane!! I have been catching up on your trip report! Eric looks so small in the pic of you all riding RNRC! I cannot believe the family in front of you at Pixar Place, I can only imagine how they act in the privacy of their own home! Scary!! Looking forward to more.

Its nice to know that those actors were able to find /keep jobs at WDW, he is very funny!

Great update!

Thanks! I was stunned by that families behavior!

Looks like a great day at DHS

I was thinking of trying Pizza Planet this trip, but was afraid be stuck in there trying to drag Trent away from the games.

Upstairs, you can't really see the games, but the best thing would be to sit outside to avoid the games!

You had a fun morning at DHS! I can't get over how some people act at Disney! I am shocked by that family's behavior! :sad2: They certainly make our meltdowns look like nothing in comparison!

Thanks Jackie! You my kids aren't perfect and certainly have their moments but I have truly never seen anything so horrible! I agree about the air and pizza!

Looks like you all had a great time at DHS :thumbsup2

Looking forward to the next installment popcorn::

Thanks!

Oops, I commented on that picture, and then forgot to comment on what a great update that was!!

Thanks, I love that Toy Story set up too! Yes, they are real straps!

Too funny about being invisible if your eyes are closed! I agree, in that case the parents were idiots! Thanks about the pics. I love them too!

Excellent updates!

Thanks!

Thanks about the pics. Yes, that family certainly provided a window into crazy! LOL about the RNRC face!

I always liken the pictures of me on RnRC to how I would look if I had a bad face lift:lmao:

Thanks so much! Yeah, that family was nuts!

Looks like a fun morning at DHS! Sorry RNR wasn't "relaxing" for you and the back does have a tendance to be a little rougher.

Looking forward to hearing about Boma.....yum!

We did have a fun morning, thanks! We LOVE Boma too!

Loved the update, Diane!! The boys are just so darn handsome! Loved the picture of them giving each other the 'Best Brother' award! It looked crazy crowded at DHS that day - but LOVED the 13 minute wait at the ToT!!

You are so sweet, thank you! It did get pretty crowded that day! That 13 minute wait is a cute touch isn't it?

Great update Diane!! I have been catching up on your trip report! Eric looks so small in the pic of you all riding RNRC! I cannot believe the family in front of you at Pixar Place, I can only imagine how they act in the privacy of their own home! Scary!! Looking forward to more.

Melissa

Thanks! He does look small in that pic! i was wondering what that family is like at home too! Thanks for catching up!

After our great but HOT morning at DHS, we made it back to the AKL and filled our mugs and just relaxed for a little bit before our dinner at Boma!

Before we knew it, it was time to head downstairs! It was so nice just walking downstairs to eat!

IMG_1878.jpg

My guys waiting while I checked in!

IMG_1880.jpg

After about 5 minutes we were buzzed to eat! This meal never disappoints, there is always something for everyone and we always leave happy and satisfied!

IMG_1883.jpg

IMG_1884.jpg

YUMMY dessert!

IMG_1886.jpg

After our wonderful meal, we headed back upstairs so Matthew could spend his souveneir money on a caricature!

IMG_1889.jpg

I took some lobby shots while we waited!

The artist working...

IMG_1897.jpg

My happy boy with his likeness!

IMG_1899.jpg

Matthew paid $20 for this. There were several pricing options, you could choose black and white or color and framed or not framed!

After Matthew finished, we decided to change into our suits and head on over to Kidani and check it out!

We drove our car over and parked in the lot. We had the HARDEST time trying to figure out how to get to the pool...not sure why but we did! We decided to head up to the lobby first and then find the pool from there!

We found Kidani to be every bit as beautiful as Jambo House, just on a much smaller scale!
