All Aboard! A Disney and Orlando Unleashed TR!TONS of PICS! Update 1/2 pg 25

I love that y'all played kimono dress up!!! I've always wanted to try one on there, but I didn't know if that would be frowned upon!

Great picture of the whole crew at the hibachi table. I love that restaurant, too. But I haven't had a Tokyo Sunset. I certainly plan to try one the next time I make it to Disney.

The grey goose slush is still my fav, those are small but delicious! I mean, they seriously need a larger size available. It takes me like 5 minutes to finish one, they are so tasty! LOL

Oh my goodness... that picture of Tim in the kimono is PRICELESS!!! I hope he makes that his Facebook profile picture!! :lmao:

You and Lesley talking about your kids growing up is so touching... it so difficult, yet rewarding at the same time, no?

I was actually able to try the Tokyo Sunrise when we were there during Spring Break... after seeing you and Lesley have it before, I had to give it a go... it did not disappoint!

Sorry you missed Illuminations... can't wait to hear what's up next!

Congrats on the job, Diane!!! That is wonderful news!

Okay, I am dying laughing over the kimono modeling!!! Too funny! Lauren does look adorable in hers -- glad she left with one!

Matthew is the same age as Connor and we are beginning to see the same kinds of things. At Disney this year, Connor was very bent out of shape that we wouldn't let him carry his KTTW card. (We don't let Chelsea carry hers either. :confused3)

Followed you over from Lesley's TR and I love seeing your pics and experiences of the trip.

Congrats on the new job!!!!!

Great update

Japanese place looked like a fun place to eat. Trent is not adventurous at all, so dont see that in our neat future any time soon

Great shot of everyone in the Kimonos...especially Tim :rotfl2:

Love those grey goose slushies...so good :thumbsup2

Great update Diana, Teppan Edo has become one of our favorites as well! Can't wait to dine there in December! :goodvibes ANd I might just have to try one of these Tokyo Sunsets you speak of! Looks delish! :rotfl:

So nice that you had enough people to fill up the table...we did that in 2006 with our friends that live there, it was wonderful!

I noticed in the pic of the chef with the onions on the grill that your Tokyo Sunset glass is empty...did you get another:lmao:

Ok, those shots of Tim in the kimono almost resulted in coffee shooting out of my mouth onto the laptop!

I agree, Lauren, looked stunning and the boys looked great in their tee shirts!

Congratulations on your new job!

What a fun night with friends. I haven't tried Teppan Edo yet but I will have to... especially your favorite drink!

Love the kimono modeling shots. Too cute!!

We just loved Teppan Edo, was much better than I thought it would be. I understand the kids growing up. It happens before we can stop it. Like the song Turn Around & they're grown.

Congrats on getting the teaching job, it's nice to know that some are still being hired.:cool1:

First off...congrats on the job!!!!:banana::banana:Boy that must be such a huge relief, lots of work but relief. The updates were great. Loved the snake shirt buddies and the kimono shots. Too funny. Boy those clouds did look pretty nasty behind the boys and Bryan, no wonder you didn't stay for Illuminations:scared1:Glad you had your priorities straight and had the Grey Goose slushies before you left:rotfl2:

Loving both yours and Lesley's reports!

Congratulations on the new job! Good luck!

Congrats on the job!!!

WELCOME! I LOVE new readers! Thanks for joining us! Yes, the ghost of Bryan was quite hilarious!

Today was our one and only day at the Animal Kingdom Park! i have to say this was one of our favorite days of the trip! We slept in a little and woke up at 8. We ate in our room and decided to drive to the park, we arrived just as it was opening! Bryan ran to get fastpasses for Everest and the boys and I headed for Dinoland USA! I took this picture along the way!

IMG_1551.jpg

When we arrived in Dinoland, it was a ghost town!! The boys rode Triceratops spin...a first for them!!

IMG_1557.jpg

IMG_1561.jpg

After our spin, Bryan met back up with us and we headed to ride Dinosaur...we LOVE this ride!

IMG_1562.jpg

The boys faking scared!

IMG_1564.jpg

My favorite men in the whole world!

IMG_1565.jpg

IMG_1566.jpg

Our ride photo!

IMG_1567.jpg

the amount of people in the photo gives you an idea of the lack of crowds!

Because there was no line, we rode again!

IMG_1569.jpg

2nd ride photo!

IMG_1570.jpg

After our second ride it was time for our Everest fastpasses already! So we headed that way!

Stoppoing for a ride first!

IMG_1571.jpg

Once we got to Everest, Bryan first went to get Safari fastpasses and the boys and I explored!

IMG_1572.jpg

Eric ended up buying the hat he is wearing, it was on sale for 7 bucks...shocking!!! He looks cute though doesn't he!

IMG_1573.jpg

Everest time baby!!

IMG_1575.jpg

IMG_1576.jpg

Ride photos! Sorry for the quality! Funny side note, a woman came up to me when I was done taking the picture all excited and nervous telling me what a brilliant idea it was to take a photo of the photo...why she singled me out I don't know, EVERYONE was doing it?!

IMG_1578.jpg

It was a blast as always! Bryan really wanted to ride again so he did this, while we waited!

IMG_1579.jpg

Just another visual to show you how low the crowds were, here are our safari fastpasses and it was almost time to use them!

IMG_1580.jpg

After Bryan's second trip to Nepal, we went to Africa to go on our 2 week safari!

IMG_1584.jpg

IMG_1582.jpg

IMG_1588.jpg

IMG_1593.jpg

We saw this warthog that Bryan insisted was dead!

IMG_1597.jpg

After our safari adventure we were hungry............

CONTINUED!

We decided to split up for lunch, Bryan and matthew wanted Flame Tree and Eric wanted pizza, so Eric and I headed here!

IMG_1602.jpg

Me and my lunch buddy!

IMG_1601.jpg

The rooms are decorated so cute in here!

IMG_1598.jpg

Eric was so cute on this day, he asked if he could throw out all the garbage when we were done because it was a man's job! Sooooo cute, I was so proud of him!

Bryan and matthew enjoyed their lunch and had finished before us so they went and fastpassed Kali and then we met up and headed to camp Minnie Mickey!

Goofy was up first with hardly any line!

IMG_1603.jpg

IMG_1604.jpg

My baby and I enjoying this PERFECT day!

IMG_1605.jpg

Next up was Donald and man did he appreciate our shirts, he made a big fuss!

IMG_1608.jpg

IMG_1609.jpg

After our character encounters, we were finally headed to see NEMO!!!! Woo Hoo, all of us were looking forward to this!

IMG_1610.jpg

I got nervous as we first got in line because we were in the sun, so I sent Bryan to get drinks but the line started moving and they told us they were going to let us into the theater....I frantically called Bryan and he came running back thankfully without drink because they weren't allowed in the theater! Some pics inside!

IMG_1613.jpg

IMG_1614.jpg

The show was INCREDIBLE! All of the actors and actresses were terrific! So glad we finally saw it!

After the show we went to use our Kali fastpasses! We always try and do this ride right before we leave the park for the day because we always get SOAKED and this time was no different!

IMG_1615.jpg

After our soaking, we called it a day and left the park!

IMG_1616.jpg

It was such a nice day, hardly any crowds and waits we got to see and do new things and we didn't have to race around the park to any of it!

We got back to the AKL and got our suits on and met up with our vacation buddies by the pool!

The kids had fun swiiming and being silly and the adults enjoyed some beverages and chatting!

IMG_1617.jpg

IMG_1618.jpg

IMG_1620.jpg

After awhile, it was time to head up and get ready for our big date night and dinner at Jiko!!!
