Alittle sad because I'm missing the Christmas decorations.

I need my Dis Buddies to cheer me up. I am going to miss the Disney Christmas magic because our trip isn't until the 1st week in Feb. I so love to go to Disney at the holidays. It just isn't the same going in Feb.:sad:

I have also heard how great it is to visit in February! Once on our trip in October be met a local who told us the best time of year in Orlando is around February! This is our first holiday trip ever, but I kind of wish our schedule would have worked out for February or March!;)

Mardi Gras!!!

Head over to POFQ to celebrate!

We went last year in January and thought it would be great to go the 1st to the 6th for the Christmas decor. It was nice and all but I won't go again in Jan. The parks were still packed and it was FREEZING. We had multiple layers on while walking around the MK. That's just not what a trip to Florida should be! I hope the weather is perfect for you guys in February! Have fun and go to the Mardi Gras at POR!

Awe, sorry.

For YEARS we could not go during the Christmas decorations but last year was the first time in about 6 years.

This year we just happen to be able to go in November due to DH's work conference changing from Chicago to Orlando.

I've been in WDW a few times during the Christmas season. Although the decorations were gorgeous, one thing I didn't like was all the Christmas music everywhere(which I normally enjoy at home) when I'm at Disney, I want to hear the normal music they play, I found I really missed that when all we heard was Jingle Bells all day! We will be there the 3rd week of Jan, and I'm looking forward to the feeling I get when I walk into the parks and hear their familar music!:cloud9:

Yes, but you are also missing large crowds, long lines, long waits, and higher prices. I will be ending my trip just as yours is starting. It's getting so exciting isn't it, down to the final few weeks? According to Deb at allears.net the best time to visit is Jan/Feb due to beautiful weather, low crowds, and all for lower prices, how can you beat that? Josh at easywdw.com agrees.

WDW celebrates Christmas every year with the same festivities so if you can't make it this year, the good news is you can plan a trip for next year and not miss a thing. Just think what you can accomplish with another year to have time to plan and prepare for it!

I'd like to 2nd that. Besides the cold weather we had, the music threw me off that week. It was cute and all, but not really my version of Disney.
