omg...this whole Labyrinth thing has me CRACKING up!! I currently have that movie in my VCR!! (yes..VCR..because the only proper way to watch David Bowie in all of his spandex-sexiness is on VHS!) DF thinks I am absolutely nuts for watching it at least once a month..but its a classic! I tried to get DF to watch it once..he fell asleep in the middle..poor guy..he'll never know.

omg...this whole Labyrinth thing has me CRACKING up!! I currently have that movie in my VCR!! (yes..VCR..because the only proper way to watch David Bowie in all of his spandex-sexiness is on VHS!) DF thinks I am absolutely nuts for watching it at least once a month..but its a classic! I tried to get DF to watch it once..he fell asleep in the middle..poor guy..he'll never know.

Yeah, I tried to get DF to watch it too, 10 minutes in he was like "this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen -- and I can see David Bowies junk."

Oh my god I almost died when I read that!!!

I think I have the whole movie memorized...for it's time - it was totally killer... but you can definitely see DB's junk. The crazy garbage lady used to give me nightmares - that and the goblins in the closet -- I still to this day have to make sure my closet door is securely latched (lest some goblins come and steal my DF . Seriously, I'm about to dig it out right now -- or find a dvd copy on amazon... think they'll make it on blu-ray? Jim Hensen's creature shop is the best!! Remember...uh...The Dark Crystal? so good. The fact that I'm a huge fantasy/scifi nerd doesn't hurt the matter... I'm glad there' still people out there that enjoy those movies!! Hensen and Disney did get together at some points right? Muppets? Are they Disney or are they just in the parks from the MGM merger?

Anyway, I think I pirated my own thread. Arg, Me maties!

My second fave fantasy/sci-fi movie is "Willow". Now, Dark Crystal was good...but come on...Willow was A-Mazing! And hellloooo Mr. Kilmer! lol

Willow WAS fantastic and any time I see that little person I say "OMG that's the guy from Willow" and everyone raises and eyebrow and says "huh?" And then I kick them for not seeing one of my top fav fantasy movies. Little known fact, he also cameoed in a few episodes of Are you Afraid of the Dark.

Neverending story, that was a good one from back then too.... NES II and III super sucked though. Jonathan Brandis will NEVER be Bastian. Although I did have a crush on him as a preteen. Too bad he committed suicide. Wow, my trains of thoughts are scary at midnight...

To get back on topic (sort of), I really wanna see your invites, but for some reason starting a couple of weeks ago, only certain pictures show up on my PC here at work, any ideas why that might be? I didn't used to have a problem with it....

Thank you! I think they caught my eye online and when I saw them in the store at the reduced price I was like awww yeah... Originally I wanted a rectangle pocket and after I priced it out it was like $400+ ! Then, I saw someone on here had those sweet scroll invites -- they are amazing! But I really wanted response cards and it seemed awkward... they are really neat though...also a little out of my budget. But, I'm happy - and they're purple, which is killer!

thank you so much! It was quite a debacle, as DF and I were at the store flipping through books and once we found it I said "now we have to pick a font" and he's like "the one that's on there is fine." Mr. Impatient... then I was like "How about this one?" and "Oh wait, I like this one better..." Finally he was like - it's just a font, Sheesh!!

Then I found the one we picked and he said, "oh, well, I guess that does make a difference." I wish there was a smiley sticking its tongue out! Silly DFs - don't pay any attention to details!
