What is this? I see the words in places, but cannot find it in directories. Is it a ride?, restaraunt?, Is it in MK? Epcot?

Alien Encounter is hard to describe. It is sort of an audio-animatronic horror show. It is not a ride. It can be a little intense for young kids who view everything as real but otherwise it is pretty tame. I think it is fun. I had heard somewhere that they might be closing it so if you are not finding information that might be the reason.

It's HISTORY! They've already closed it and are replacing it with "Stitch's Great Escape".

I think it was about the shortest lived rehab they've ever had!! Although I liked it - it was VERY INTENSE for lots of folks - especially kids. It scared the stew out of me and I thought the preshow was a scream - but my DH - who doesn't let as freaked out by stuff he KNOWS isn't real - thought it was lame. The fact that one of the actors in the preshow is charged with some sort of child pornography or something like that probably didn't help either!!

I'm sure the new one will have a wider appeal.
