Alien Encounter Closing???!!!

I hear that Alien Encounter is closing its doors forever!!! Is this a rumor or is it true?

It is closing, but not forever. Disney will untilize the downtime to re-theme this attraction with a heavy emphasis on Stitch. Expect to hear the official announcement, along with additional details, within the next two weeks.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, AE will close for good on October 11th. The new show there will include Stitch, and they are planning to deput next fall.
