So I was going to post this over in the movie boards, but seeing as there are absolutely no posts over there, I figured i'd post it over here with my fellow teens. For those who have seen it, what did you guys think of it? I personally really enjoyed it.

I'd give it an 8.5/10. I thought the 3D was a little lackluster, but it did provide a lot of depth. I loved how in this interpretation of 'Alice' it had an actual story, unlike the original, which really didn't have much of an actual story. It sort of used the original book as the back story and then Tim Burton created his own story from there on. I also like how he incorporated parts of "Through the looking glass" into this movie as well. I've heard people say the CGI was a little over the top, but really I thought it was done very well. I think the only thing that was done a little to much was tweetledee and tweetledum. I also enjoyed how they wrote Johnny Depp's part as the Mad Hatter. They showed him as having an actual personal side besides being mad which I liked. I think Anne Hathaway's part was wrote poorly though. When she was on screen she was great as the white queen. Shee just got very little screen time. She really didn't start to appear uintil the last 1/3 or so of the movie. If I had to pick between this one and the original 'Alice', i'd pick this movie.
