Today we were supposed to go to Sea World, but Rick and I both agreed we need a day to sort out our cases, do a bit of shopping and generally slow the pace down. The trippee will be fairly short as I’m sure you don’t want to read about shops that we visited today.
I was up at about 8.00am and started the washing and drying off again. No washing had been done on the cruise, so we were starting to run out of clean clothes.
By 10.00am, we had eaten breakfast, washed up the dishes, both of us had had showers, got dressed and were ready for our day shopping. As I said, I won’t bore you with the details, but we did end up at the Mall at Millennia around lunchtime after visiting Outdoor World – the home for everything and more that you might just need for hunting and fishing. We had decided that we wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We split a Club Sandwich between us to leave room for dessert.
I had the 30 year celebration chocolate cheesecake and Rick had his usual – chocolate fudge brownie sundae. I couldn’t finish mine so took out a doggie bag.
The Mall was in the process of being decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Here are a few pictures that I took of the decorations that caught my eye.
Back at the hotel by 7.00pm and plenty of time to finish off the washing, packing and ironing. We finished off the cheesecake and then watched Dancing with the Stars (the US equivalent to Strictly Come Dancing in the UK). We watched some of the Epcot Fireworks from our balcony. Eventually we all called it a night at about 11.00pm.
Tomorrow, we resume the scheduled plan. We have a WDW three park hop day ending up in Epcot and dinner at Rose and Crown.
