Had planned to try Alfredo's in the WS and now that I am only 1 day away from my 180 days, I'm having second thoughts - I really wanted to try their Alfredo, but I think(know) the rest of the family might(will) enjoy ESPN more - I know that they are 2 totally different experiences, but I think ESPN will be more popular with the family...

How far of a walk from WS to ESPN? Can I grab a bus near ESPN to get to MK? TIA

Never done ESPN, so I can't help there, but we thought Alfredo's was a lot of fun. My sister-in-law has Italian ancestry, so she wanted to eat there. The food was good, but is different from what most Americans are used to when you say Italian food. I loved how you could taste the cheese instead of the butter in the fettucine alfredo. We were there in part for my parents anniversary, so the accordion player came over to our table and played Bella Note from Lady and the Tramp. It was great.

Alfredos! ESPN is a more casual burger hot dog place. I always like ESPN but I have heard some bad reviews. However, I'd go there again. Alfredo's in a finer dining restaurant. My daughter just loved Alfredos and ate every single bite!

It really depends on who is going and what their food preference is. If your going w/ people that love sports, stick w/ ESPN. They have great bar food, awesome chicken wings and good burgers. Tv's are all over the place but adr are not taken there, its a first come first serve basis.
Alfredos I hear mixed reviews about but we booked reso's there anyway.
My advise, if you are going to be in Epcot book Alfredo's and if you have a change of mind, just walk thru to the boardwalk area and go to ESPN. ;)

Read my review:

Alfredo's a Mother's Day Review for our trip.

Is there a specific reason you are only considering these two? ESPN is basically bar food which is fine but two totally different things.

Le Cellier is by far my favorite in Epcot.
Beaches & Creme is very good for basic hamburgers.

That is exactly what I did - booked Alfredos and will decide in time to cancel ADR, if necessary - thanks!

Minnie - I did read your review - it added to my mixed feelings. I've been to the other TS you mentioned as well as a few other WS TS and am going back to Le Cellier. My family just brought up ESPN a couple times when I asked their input - we've never been - I figure I picked all the other TS, maybe I should let them pick one :rotfl:

To answer your transportation question, you can take a bus to MK from the Boardwalk resort bus stop.

ESPN, if everyone will like it more, is AWESOME. We personally love it and usually dine there once a trip. Try the red wings with sideline fries, YUM :thumbsup2

I have been to Alfredo's and while good, the alfredo didn't blow me away. The atmosphere to me is better than ESPN but I prefer the food at ESPN. But I also love buffalo wings so I'm biased.

You can walk to ESPN from the WS and take a bus at the Boardwalk to MK.

We went to ESPN last time we were down and I thought our sandwiches were terrible. We will not go back any time soon.
