Ok ladies... now the obsession is the Cinderella dress, cause it's the 1 I got! :goodvibes

For the ones who will also be wearing this dress, or if you just have an idea or opinion.... how will wear your hair? Are you wearing a veil? Tiara? Nothing?? :rotfl:

I personally like the headband thing the model is wearing in the Disney pic. I've looked at different places online, and those things are pretty pricey! Especially considering this is the 2nd dress I've bought.. and I already have a veil and headband. (neither of which go with the dress) :lmao:

TIA!

ooo i'd have my hair up like cinderella but with a nice tiara. not sure i'd have the veil. its such a pretty dress, you must upload some pictures of you in it. I'd love to see 'real' woman in these dresses instead of the models.

Ooh yes could we see a pic please? Although I am going for a tea length dress and swore I would NEVER wear a long gown, I am kind of a little bit in love with this dress! (Maybe for a vow renewal!).

I daren't even go and try it on incase I really do fall in love with it and then what do I do:confused3 But I too would like to see a real bride in it and not just a modelled photo.

my faves are the tiana and belle gowns. i love the cinderella just wish the bodice was a bit longer. my ideal dress would be the sleeping beauty top with the cinderella skirt
just as a woman with average curves, i worry but bum will look to big. i'm very temptered to go and try all these dresses on and take photo's as i'm sure it would be so helpful to other brides-to-be to see what they look like on real woman. until then, i shall just keep dreaming about them.

I got the Cinderella dress too, and I am in LOVE with it!!
It is supposed to be in the first week of May, and I cannot wait...it is seriously wayyyyy to far away! :)

I am planning to wear my hair down, with a Beaded Headband. They have some cute tiaras that I have seen as well, but I'm worried about how high it might stick up. I tried on a veil, and personally, didn't like the way it looked with a veil.

I haven't bought one yet, but I have been searching the internet for one I like!! :)

I have a pic, it's at home. (I'm at work) I'll try to post later, so you can get an idea. Just so you know, the sample was WAY big on me. I tried on a lot of the other dresses too. Forgot to get the camera out until I picked this 1. :lmao: That was the whole point in taking the camera.

I love the beaded headbands. Especially the fabric ones that tie under your hair. I bought 1 for my other dress, but it's small and dainty and doesn't go with this dress. I'm personally not a huge fan of the tiaras either.

I was thinking of a half up half down look with the fabric beaded headband. And I also agree that a veil really doesn't mesh well with this dress at all.

I bought this dress too and I love it sooooo much! :) I did actually buy a veil to wear with it--- I understand it's not for everyone, but I really like it. :) I also bought a tiara. I initially wanted a pretty sparkly headband, but all of the girls at the shop and my grandmother informed me I needed a tiara and I succumbed to peer pressure! :lmao:(It is actually very pretty though!)

I'm going to wear my hair down, but that's only because I don't like how I look with my hair up! I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet, but I know it will be down.

DoomBuggy Did you get a long veil or a short veil? The ladies at the boutique really liked the idea of a long veil with this dress. I didn't like the idea of the price of a long veil!! :rotfl: I thought about a tiara. I just didn't like the way they looked or me, or the price tags.

It's just hard for me to spend more money on accessories for this dress when I've already spent so much between the 2 dresses!!

Plus, if all goes well with the travel times, I'm going to be borrowing jewelry from the jewelry store that we bought the rings from. They let their brides borrow if enough money was spent between the 3 rings. Thank goodness there's some kind of perk with spending a lot of money! :lmao:

I bought a shortish veil! I think! (I was in a daze when I bought my dress LOL!) Yes, I'm pretty sure it was short, but it was CRAZY expensive anyway. There's a picture of it in my Planning Journal on the third or fourth page--- I was going to post the picture but I didn't want to overtake your thread!

And that's great that you get to borrow fancy shmancy jewelry! I'm not sure what I'm doing for jewelry yet--- my grammy sent me one of those ribbons with words on it from WDW that's blue and says "I wish to live the life of a Princess" and I'm going to wear that as my Something Blue. It's a LITTLE childish, but I'm virtually an 11 year old girl, and I really like the message!

Doombuggy, I just had a look at your pic. It's a gorgeous dress. I'm sure you will feel like a princess on the big day. I'm definately not trying one on now though!

omg that dress looks AMAZING on. i think it looks nicer on you then on the model. its such a lovely shape. beautiful honey. :goodvibes:

It looks gorgeous on you!! :goodvibes Don't you feel like a princess when you're wearing it!?!?:cloud9::cloud9:

You look so gorgeous in it ! I plan on getting this dress for my 2013 wedding ! Yes, I know its early for me to start planning, but I am a planning type girl and I have been dreaming about this day since I was 4 years old and watching Cinderella on my livingroom floor !

This is it. The sample anyway. They said it would take 12-16 weeks for mine to come in!! :scared1: Kind of freaks me out!

Are you wearing any extra crinolines(sp?)? Do you think I should? I'm kind of undecided on the poofiness!:)

Nah, I think it's just enough poof. Im also assuming that our dresses will be a littttle more poofed because aren't samples usually flatter? I think say yes to the dress said so!

I almost got the Cinderella dress but decided on Belle instead. I originally didn't like the Belle on when I tried it on but it very quickly grew on me. The longer I stayed in it the more I fell in love with it. I don't even remember what the Cinderella one looked like on me anymore. Anyway...I'm not doing a veil or tiara but I found a cute headband at the mall for six dollars that I think will go great with the dress. It's a thin braided champagne colored ribbon with rhinestones also braided in it. Try looking at accessories in different stores and you just might find something you love for cheap.
