Alerts NOT emails

How can I stop getting emails but continue to get alerts when signed into the boards?

Hover over your username in the upper right. Click on "Preferences" In the next window uncheck "and receive email notifications of replies".

Hovering didn't work for me, I had to click on my name to get the menu.

So, on one of my computers it doesn't work, and my other it does. Maybe I need to clear my cache or something.
