What are your experiences flying from ABE to Orlando? I am planning a trip in November.

I work at an airport that Allegaint flies from and I haven't heard anyone complain about them. You pay for all of the extras but you should know that going into it. E

We fly Allegient annually from our smaller regional airport into Sanford and then Happy Limo it to the resort and LOVE IT:love:The air flight is normal, nothing really awesome or shocking either way, but it's the airport experiences that we appreciate: free parking at our home airport; quicker security, fewer flights to mingle--in fact our flight's luggage is usually the only one coming through at Sanford and little time wasted walking and making connections. Honestly, at OHare and Orlando International you can add a good hour easy just getting where you need to get within facility, finding your transportation to WDW, etc. Oh, one other thing--rule of thumb when we flew out of the huge airports--we experienced delays on every flight to/from. Since using Allegient we've never experienced that--the flights arrive and depart on time:thumbsup2

bryanyu- We live in the ABE area and frequently use Allegiant air. We had only 1 issue and that was returning from Florida to ABE due to weather. We are sadden by the fact they are not flying into Sanford anymore but also happy that now it will only take about 20 minutes to the Boardwalk Inn:cool1:

I've flown Allegiant from ABE. You get what you pay for. I only paid $19.99 for my ticket, so my poor service was warranted I guess. Would I fly them again? For a cheap rate, yes. Anything over $70 one way & I'd pay more to go with another carrier.

We fly Allegiant alot....to Orlando and Myrtle Beach from ABE. Everything has gone pretty smoothly. You do have to watch all the extras they try to add when booking but when they have there sales for 19.99 or 29.99 you really can't beat the price. If you can travel with just a carryon or only check one bag for everyone you can really get some low prices.
BTW..if you're going from ABE they now fly into MCO.

If going from Sanford we rented a car. If you keep checking on rental car prices you can probably get a car for less than $200 total for the week.

How soon before your trip to you see sales for those prices? Right now my flights are 59.99 and 99.99. We are going in August and really playing the waiting game.

It really depends. We check every day. I signed up for airfare watchdog and I get an e-mail with the prices. To me it seems like as soon as they release them they are low, then they tend to go up, then a month to a month and half before the dates they drop again. Also check on holidays. On Christmas they dropped fares to 12.25 and New Year's they were 20.10 but they usually only leave them up for the day or less.
