Ale & Compass Candlelight Processional Breakfast

I have just purchased the Ale & Compass buffet breakfast for 3 adults . The email says that the prepaid amount includes gratuity. Is that correct? ( i have never been to a buffet in the US before) Many thanks

This is from the Disney Food Blog, "Prices exclude tax and gratuity, and park admission is not included. "

I never read my confirmation emails, so I don't know first hand. I know I tipped last year and I was planning to tip this year. It would be good to know. We are booked at Biergarten.

It's a great question. I'd probably verify with the restaurant when checking in. In the "Know Before You Go" section it says that the pricing listed (pasted below) does not include tax or gratuity.

I think I remember someone else in another thread asking about this and the speculation was that the email was in error but I'm not sure there was ever a definitive answer. FYI in terms of buffets in the US, the Ale & Compass breakfast is a bit unusual in that you're only getting your "sides" from the buffet (fruit, pastries, cheese, charcuterie etc.) and your server brings beverages as well as your main entrée (vs. getting all of your food from the buffet). I love breakfast at Ale & Compass and the Candlelight Processional … you're going to have a great time!!
