I recently turned 21, and i'm not a hard drinker. I want to know about fruity, not too strong, alcoholic drinks. Much like blue motorcycles, bahama mamas.. etc. offered around the world, and where at. Thanks in advance.

Happy Birthday! There are all kinds of good fruity type cocktails in nearly all of the TS resturants in WDW. However the 2 drinks in France at Epcot come to mind. The Grey Goose Citron on the Grand Marnier Orange Slush, which takes like a dreamcicle.

I am sure others will be able to chime in with more!

Have A Wonderful Trip. :)

My fave drink in WS is the Sultan's Colada in Morrocco

Happy Birthday!

I agree with the above poster the Grey Goose Citron slushie and the Grand Marnier Orange slushie are soo wonderful.
Also there is the drink at the Poly that comes in the pinapple (forget the name at the moment) that is pretty special. It is served at the lounge on the second floor of the lobby.
At the Rose and Crown (at the UK pavilion in Epcot) they serve a Woodpecker Sweet English Cider that is light, sweet and crisp!

Definitely try the avocado margarita at the Tequila Bar in Mexico....I know it sounds wierd (trust me, I do not like wierd things to eat or drink) but it is awesome!

Just to let you know, a Blue Motorcycle is not a lightweight type of drink

1/2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz rum
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
sweet and sour mix
1 splash 7-Up® soda

It's from the Long Island Ice tea family. Just don't want you having the wrong impression about that drink. It's good, but it really packs a punch.

And thankyou for you and your Husband's service as a Marine...my son is enlisting this summer, after he graduates.

agreed, you MUST go to France. I haven't tried the Grey Goose Citron, but have had the Grand Mariner slush many times, and it is to die for!! I think any of the margaritas in the Mexico pavillion will be a good call. I'm more of a classic lime margarita type person, and they have a great lime margarita.

LOVE the Grand Marnier Slush in France.
A PP mentioned the Lapu Lapu at the Poly. Oh, it's special. About 4 kinds of rum special! It's tasty, but I prefer the Island Sunset there. (I love an orange drink...can you tell?)

If you're at a resort bar, you can ask the bartender/waitstaff, and they can make a "light" version of any drink for you. But be careful - just because it's a "specialty drink" doesn't make it low alcohol. My 21 yo daughter had her socks knocked off with a blue drink at The Wave (in the Contemporary) - not a lightweight at all.

Otherwise, you might want to stick with wine. Many of the countries around World Showcase have wonderful wines!

I know the blue motorcycle is a strong drink, but it doesn't taste like it. A bar my husband and a few friends go to make it without Tequila, which makes it a lot lighter than normal.

You can get a blue "glowtini" at most bars in WDW. It's quite good and I think you'd like it alot. The magical star cocktail is also one that goes down very easy and is found all around. I do really like the grey goose slushies in the France pavilion in Epcot though. The Welsh Dragon at Rose and Crown is good too.

By the way, grew up in Maysville and my family still lives there and in Swansboro and Jacksonville. Now I live in Lumberton. Love the Crystal Coast.

I can't say enough good things about the grey goose slushie - love it! The plastic martini glasses, however, are not my favorite (but that's because I'm still pushing a stroller.) So I wash out my refillable mug, pour in the slushie and throw in a straw. :)

I was told that the glowtini was very good. It sounds like that and the Mariner slush are going to be the tops on my list.

We live in New Bern, i love it here. The pollen is horrendous right now though. I drove down the road and practically saw a cloud of it.

Which slush is the best? the orange or the lemon? I'm more into sweet and sour type of drinks, so both sound good. But we're only going for 4 days in April.

I'm a fan of sweet/sour drinks too. I like the lemon because it is sweet and tart.. very tasty!
