Can my husband and I put our two bottles of wine each in the same carry on? So four bottles in one bag?

awesome! thank you! did you wrap them with bubble wrap?we had 12 in one carry on in 2019! (Across 7 adults)
Who was lucky enough to carry that?we had 12 in one carry on in 2019! (Across 7 adults)
We did, but not individually. Other times, I have wrapped in bubble wrap or those 'wine bottle sleeves'did you wrap them with bubble wrap?
My in-laws drove to port from Virginia, so we packed everything carefully in a single roll on suitcase and we met together before getting in line at the port, so it was always rolled thankfully!Who was lucky enough to carry that?![]()
I'm assuming the few ruined it for the many. That said, the current allowance is still more than other cruise lines and you can restock at each port.Remember the old days when you could bring any kind of liquor. I always thought that was way to generous of DCL.
You could set up your own bar in your Stateroom.
We never need more than a bottle or two of wine.

Yes.if we buy souvenir alcohol at port (like rum in the Caribbean) they will store it for us until we disembark, correct?
Correct. A cast member will collect it as you reboard the ship, and you will be able to pick it up on debarkation day.if we buy souvenir alcohol at port (like rum in the Caribbean) they will store it for us until we disembark, correct?
I always save some T-shirts from our regular luggage to wrap around the wine bottles. Saves the extra packing material and we know they wont break easily.awesome! thank you! did you wrap them with bubble wrap?
Did all y'all board at the same time? My BIL wants us to bring his, (he's coming directly from a work conference and wont be able to stop) but we have an earlier PATwe had 12 in one carry on in 2019! (Across 7 adults)
I'd be interested in this, also. I've read in the past that the people who the bottles/cans belong to must be boarding at the same time.Did all y'all board at the same time? That's what I assume and exactly what my husband told his brother, but I'm not 100% certain since I haven't been on a cruise. For what it's worth, we also will have brother in law's carry on bag. LOL, he was at my house just before he left for the conference and left it with us. (his flight gets in late morning and he wanted the least amt of stuff so he can race out of the airport). i'm leaving the kids at home and subbing in my brother in law it seems. Yes, we all had the same PAT. I would not have tried it if we weren't together. They didn't count them, but they could have.Did all y'all board at the same time? My BIL wants us to bring his, (he's coming directly from a work conference and wont be able to stop) but we have an earlier PAT
I figured as much. I'm hoping he arrives around the same time as us. I could have my husband hang back and wait for him, but weve never been on DCL so I kind of wanted to board together. Or we can just make it easy and tell BIL we didnt have time to stop to grab him a 6 pack. LOLYes, we all had the same PAT. I would not have tried it if we weren't together. In the past we have. And you can bring your allowance on from each port. So my husband likes to pick up a couple of locals beers at each port.![]()
