Alcohol?

Hello everyone!

Last time I asked a question I received fast and great responses, so I thought I would ask another question that I cannot find the answer to...

Is there a list of places where you can buy alcohol at DCA or DTD? I know DL does not serve it, but was curious what other places might...and the people with me like all different things...beer, mixed drinks, wine, and frozen drinks...so any help you can offer would be much appreciated!

Inside Disneyland it's not available. DTD restaurants almost all serve alcohol of some kind. Nice bar in the GCH and I think the Martini bar is still in DTD (am I right on that one?) If you're staying at DLH or PP, you can get drinks at the bar there too. Inside DCA the nicer restaurants all serve, but I think mostly beer and wine - that includes Ariel's Grotto which is the princess meal.

There is only a few times DLP serves alcohol. 1) club 33(super de dooper exclusive club) 2) special events (usually private)

DCA has 6 locations that services alcohol, but these are only from the top of my head (funny how my trainers ask us this during OJT )
1) Taste Pilots (Beer)
2) Winery (Do i have to say what they serve here? )
3) Beer Truck, Fishermen Wharf ( Same as #2)
4) Magarita Stand, FIshermen Wharf (Same as #3)
5) Ariels Grotto (Wine)
6) uhhhhh...i forget :| i THINK it was the None character bar at Ariel's Grotto. if not, there is one more place that sells alchohol...

DTD, i have no idea... 1 more month before i can actually BUY alcohol

I recommend the Hearthstone Lounge inside the Grand Californian Hotel (south off the main lobby)... it's wonderful staff, it's comfortable sitting area (inside and outside) and it's full bar.

Order a beer, wine, alc drink, mixed drink, shot and get some bar snacks and try the fireplace sitting area outside of the Lounge.

Downtown Disney also has some nice places, but I really recommend the Hearthstone at the GCH.

I don't recommend drinking inside DCA much, although the Strauss beer truck has some yummy microbrew domestic seasonal beer at times... it's really pretty expensive for micro suds...

The Cove Bar above Ariel's Grotto in DCA is a full bar, they will have rum. They have most of the beers that you get at the Beer Truck, but served in frosty glasses! I've also been with a friend who had a martini, it was very good.

It's hit or miss whether it will be open or not though, it must open only during the busy times of day.

I agree, it's very pricey, but you can't beat the view! Sitting over the water watching the rollercoaster take off at warp speed, watching the poor people in the Sun Wheel swinging gondalas , and the people swinging on the Orange Stinger. That's definitely worth the premium price for a frosty beverage (or two)!

If you go, be sure to try the lobster nachos, very yummy!!

Don't over do it at DCA , the puke show on the sun wheel by the drunk guys in the swinging bucket of death is enough to get me to never go on that again! My DS8 still talks about it

Ariel's Blotto...haha
