We were thinking about hosting an Illuminations Cruise for us and our guests the night of our ceremony.

It would be nice to serve wine to our guests, but we'd like to bring our own with our own disposable wine glasses (to save a little $$). Does WDW allow this?

TIA!

I would def check when making reservation. I know when we did a wishes cruise for our anniversary we were told not to bring anything on the boat- everything would be provided.....

I know when we did one we order champagne but we didn't bring it we ordered it threw disney. :)

Anyone ever actually brought their wedding cake to serve on the cruise?

I have no idea what these cruise boats look like, but if it's doable, I was thinking it might be nice to have our cake on the cruise right before Illuminations starts.
How long do you get the boat for?

I was wondering if we could get it for 30 minutes before Illuminations begins, have cake, and then enjoy the show-anyone know?

Thanks! You are all so helpful!!:goodvibes

Hi yes your suppose to be there a half hour early, I don't know about wedding cake but I had my birthday cake on there. We had 6 people on our boat I think it seats 12. And they dock at yacht and beach and they travel to Hollywood studio and come back then head into Epcot. They dock under the bridge between the international gateway and paris and then you can talk for a little bit before the show. I will try to find a pic of our boat we had. And our captain was awesome.

Thanks for that info and for sharing your pic!

and did you find that the boat had enough room to serve & eat the cake? I guess we'll have a full boat at roughly 10 people.

also, how long do you get to stay on it after the show is over? Illuminations lasts about 20 minutes I think.

Thanks!:goodvibes

there is plenty of room to eat cake... :) they don't give you much time after the show. you stay for maybe about 15 mins and then they take you back to the dock. You could always ask to stay longer, we never did that on the 2 times we went. There are 2 tables on the boat, There not that big, be enough to hold the cake and sodas, but when we ate the cake we held it in our hands. :) hope this helps.
