So im arriving via plane on Sunday and here in South Carolina we cant buy beer on Sunday. Does the Orlando area have such a stupid law? Thinking of getting a towncar ride to and from the airport instead of renting a car. Any ideas?

I dont think such a law exists in Florida. Up here in Mass, we just had it changed, now each city/town makes the decision on whether or not it can be sold on Sundays.

Unfortunately, laws like this do exist in Florida, but not sure if WDW is in such an area. I live in Alachua county, where the only alcohol sold on Sunday is beer and wine, and we have to wait until 1pm to do that! Different laws exist in different counties, and some townships. Just depends I guess.

We bought bourbon at Sam's Club yesterday -- it was in the afternoon, though. I think there may be a 'after noon' clause, but I'm not sure.

Beer and wine can be purchased in grocery and convenience stores on Sundays AFTER noon.

Liquor stores are also open on Sundays after noon.
