Hi,
Can you tell me your experience ordering from either of the above sites? I'm thinking of ordering a double stroller from them, and can only see that Babydealz has free shipping - any codes for the same with Albee?

Thanks,
Linda

I've used Albee twice and had great service with them. I don't remember paying any shipping. I thought it was free over a certain $ but it's been about a year since I've used them.

Just bought my Maclaren Quest from Albee a couple of months ago and it was free shipping over $75 or $100 - I don't remember which. I have ordered from them previously too and really liked them and had a great experience.

Albee gives free shipping if your order is over $100. Their answers to my questions via email were pathetic... I ordered from them anyway since they were the only ones with the stroller I wanted in stock. I hear they are great in person if you can get to their NYC location. Also, they are "babysurplus" on eBay, but their auctions seem to start at the same price as items on their website when you take shipping into account.

We bought a 2004 Mac Quest from babydealz about a month or so ago. I think if I remember correctly, it was a little cheaper than Albee for the particular color we wanted (and I think I remember there was no shipping charge from either one). Anyway, a nice surprise that, after ordering on a Saturday, the stroller arrived on Monday! Perfect condition, nice price, no complaints here!

our Maclauren Quest from Albee this morning and they have free shipping. Or the shipping on that order was (maybe it's a certain amount before free shipping???) But the stroller was $129.00 no s/h. :) Can't wait to get it. We don't go to DW till January...but I'm ready to break it in with some walking trips. :)

We ordered a 2004 MacLaren Triumph a few weeks ago from BabyDealz.

It was $115 and included free shipping. It arrived in about 3 days, and before the charge showed up on my credit card.

No complaints here :flower:

I purchased through albee because it was MUCH less than babydealz on the stroller I desired.

I ordered online and then called to change/add something.

AWESOME over the phone. Worth the call if you have questions about the features of the strollers....

as already discussed, both have free shipping....

i'd go with the lower price!!!

I've bought several strollers from Albee with great results every time. I also ordered one from BabyDealz b/c they were the only place that had the color I wanted. Everything went just fine, but keep in mind that BabyDealz is not an authorized retailer of any of the brands they sell. Here is the wording from their web-site:

"Babydealz is an independent company not affiliated with and/or authorized by some of the manufacturers of items we sell.

Some of our items are not purchased directly from the official distributors but instead we buy it from different sources, bypassing additional distribution levels and additional costs. As these products are not covered by the manufacturers warranty we offer our own warranty which covers the same particulars the official warranty would cover. The only differences are that you'd ship the item to us for warranty service, and you need your Babydealz invoice instead of a warranty certificate.

In most cases there's no difference between these two products. They have the same features and options. And the pass all safety specs for the USA or even more. They were manufactured side-by-side on the same assembly line by the same workers to the same tolerances using the same raw materials. They look, feel and perform the same because they are the same. Sometimes there are some differences and when there are we'll say so. For some items there are name differences.

We stand behind every item we sell, and are confident that you will get the results you need."

I read some stories about people ordering Combi twins from them a couple of years ago that arrived with the current year fabrics, but prior years frames. Like I said, I ordered a stroller (Mac Quest) from them and it was great, but if there wasn't significant savings, I wouldn't take the risk.

Good Luck
Leslie
