Can anyone fill me on these two cruises. I am having trouble locating info on the albatross. I have a ds turning 5 who loves Capt. Hook. Will it be to intimidating to go alone? How is the supervison? Which is more approptiate?
Days/times they are offered?

I know I ask a lot of ???'s I could use any advise. pirate:

Thanks-

The Pirate Cruise leaves from the Grand Floridian. The Albatross cruise leaves from the Yacht Club Resort. Both have a pirate theme. The children are paired off as buddies; they are fitted with life jackets, the kind that buckle around the body, and the children are seated in a pontoon boat with two attendant CM's. They wear name tags. They are taken out to search for buried treasure; and while on their journey they have a snack (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches). You can get more information and book it through 1-407-WDW-DINE. We just did the Albatross Cruise last week, and the kids who were on the cruise had a ball!

Disney Fool-I had heard that the Albatross Cruise takes the children to Epcot & they are in the WS before it opens to the public. Can you give any more info on what the cruise is about, i.e., the story? My DS did the Pirate Cruise last year and I am trying to find out if it is the same thing-different location or a different story that goes along with it.

Also--I heard that the AC only takes place on Wednesday, correct?

Thanks!

When I said goodbye, the "pirate ship" was headed towards the Dolphin/Swan. I don't know if it went into the Epcot area. They were following a map and clues. The CM was telling the story of the Albatross. I have no other information.

Thanks for all of your good info. I think I will try for the Albatross first since we are staying at the BWV. But the Pirates Cruise gives a nicer variety of days to choose from. pirate:

Just my .02 - My girls did the Pirate Cruise from the GF last year and the LOVED it. They did the tea party with alice this year and both agreed the pirate cruise was better!

The other cruise wasn't available but I bet it is a great choice as well. I would probably pick the one that was a) available and b) most convenient to the resort I was staying at.

Have Fun
