Albatross Cruise already booked up????

I called today (90 days out for the albatross cruise and was told it was all booked up. Could that be? Is anyone else finding that it books up within the first few hours? My daughter will be crushed. I also asked about the Grand Floridian cruise and was told that was all booked up for our week too.

I should have never told my daughter about it without the reservation, but I didnt think it would sell out within the first few hours.

If it was not sold out, they would have certainly let you book it. Many things at Disney, cruises, tours, special places to eat; sell out with minutes of the opening hour.

You can try for a cancellation and for future guests never promise anything until you have it to promise is good advice.

They do fill up fast and don't forget the new 90 +10 day policy. Resort guests can now book up to 100 days ahead when they call 90 days before. Depending on the timing, the cruises could be booked before you are even allowed to call.

I actually asked about that and they told me that the cruise didnt apply to the 90+ days.

That is for dining reservations only not special activities like this.

They do book quickly, just call every day hoping for a cancellation. Good luck.

Wow, sorry to hear that the crusie was booked already. As others have mentioned, just keep trying back right up day day before cruise. To avoid getting charged, I think people have to cancel at 48 hours before cruise. Perhaps right at this time, it would be the best time to call and get a cancellation. Someone posted the other day that they had two kids cruises booked and cancelled the one they didn't want after arriving at Disney.

My question: It looks like you can't book this at 90+ 10???
SO, when is the earliest you can book? 90 days out right at 7am??? If so, what # should be called for a better chance of getting it, wdw-dine or wdw-play???

I booked ours at 90 days out but not until 10am, I had tried the day before, not realizing that it was a day early. I asked the CM and she said that it doesn't usually book up within the first hour. She checked and there were still plenty of openings for the day after Thanksgiving. My kids are doing it on the 30th of November. I would keep on checking for cancellations. I booked ours using wdw-dine

My DD and her friend are doing it for the first time on Tues, Oct 11. I booked it on my 90 day mark, and probably called around 9 a.m. The CM was shocked that there were only two spots remaining! Luckily we got them. One reason is the Albatross Cruise only holds 10 kids, while the GF Pirate's Adventure Cruise holds 20 (I think these numbers are right...I am not 100% sure.)

Why don't you do the GF cruise? I bet that would be fun! I chose the Albatross cuz we are staying at BWV.
