What would you do for a day in Albany, NY?

Walk around and look at everything, LOL. Wow is it a stunning architectural city. Amazing.

Unfortunately I didn't get to do anything because it was our last leg of riding the Erie Canal trail. We arrived and had to catch a train back to Buffalo. We had to disassemble parts of the bikes and pack them up in boxes for the train so we only got to ride around the city taking in the buildings and taking pictures before needing to get to the train station.

Head to Thacher Park, southwest of the city, along the escarpment. Great walking trails, great views of Albany in the distance. Head north a bit and visit Saratoga National Historic Park ( turning point of the Revolution).
