Alauni Resort Question

We are hoping to secure a two bedroom at Alauni for five nights in September, 2014.

Can anyone advise ref the difficulty of getting a ressie during that time period if you don't own there?

Anything is possible. Hawaii doesn't really have a down time, so it will always be popular. If you book 7 months out, make sure that you book online at 8 am the day you're allowed to. The standard view rooms will be the first to go, so make sure you keep out enough points to do the ocean view in case that's all that's available.

WE did not have any problem in getting a 2 br at the 7 month window for May of this year, so you might get lucky too. We booked a pool/garden view room.

Aulani was wonderful!!! We did end up upgrading to a ocean view when we got there (paid the extra points) and it was so worth it, to us anyway. Next time I would go right for the ocean view booking.

We went September 2012 and at the 7 month mark I had my choice of every 2 bedroom (lock off vs dedicated) in all 4 views.
