Alaskan Members Cruise 2015

Thank you for the info,we leave for our Alaskan cruise next Saturday and was curious about what menus we had to look forward to.

Yay! You're going to love it! I'll help with whatever I can if you think of anything else!

Was there a character breakfast? If so, can you provide details? Need a ticket? We leave Monday! Thanks!

You're welcome! :) Semi-formal was on Juneau night, which has the Toy Story menu. That was my least favorite menu, but some at the table found it to be fine.

There was a character breakfast. For our rotation it was on Sunday. The servers reminded us about it all week, and then passed out our tickets to us at the table the night before. I did not attend the breakfast though, so I can't help with that side of it.

The trip was INCREDIBLE. We had great weather, yes, but it was simply awesome. As Micca said, Frozen party was not good, and we are Frozen fans. REALLY lame. Character breakfast just had Goofy, Mickey and Minnie, and Minnie never made it to our table (but we weren't hanging around too much just to get a pic with her). Was ok, nothing great and character meetings felt rushed and the room was far from full. BUT, those are about the only negatives other than some so-so menus. There was always something for everyone to eat. We did dog sled experience and whale watching, both private excursions. We recommend Chillkoot Tours for Skagway - GOTTA ride that train! We loved Tomorrowland and don't know why others don't, and saw Inside Out. It is a MUST SEE! Enjoy everyone.

If I have my first dining at Animator's Palate on Skagway day and the Frozen menu replaces the rotational menu for that night, does it mean I won't be able to see the light show at all for the entire cruise since it is usually on the first night at Animator's Palate with the rotational menu? TIA!

I don't know the answer for sure to the light show portion of your question, but I can tell you this much... you will make it through one full rotation of the three restaurants on days 1, 2, and 3 prior to reaching Skagway day on day 4. All three nights are rotational menus. I just looked again at my Navigators and realized that they DID do rotational menus the first 3 nights, and there was no Golden Mickey's menu. I don't know how I missed that before, I guess in all the craziness I didn't even realize. But the first 3 nights are rotational menus.

I just realized that I missed an important piece of info here, they did NOT do the Golden Mickey's menu. The first 3 nights were rotational menu's and the last four nights were Frozen, Toy Story, Taste of Alaska and 'Til We Meet Again. So sorry, not sure how I missed that, but I did! I thought we had the Golden Mickey's menu until I looked again just now and realized we did not!

Adding on to what Katie said... I agree you will get to see the light show... Yea there was no golden mickey's menu... I have them all sitting on my kitchen table looking at them... :)

Anyway... regardless... There is so much to see while your cruising in Alaska... Dinners will be the last thing on your mind :)

Did they have the Taste of Alaska menu or just the new Frozen Menu?

I have to correct what I posted before. Made a mistake somehow, sorry! The first 3 nights were Rotational menus, followed by Frozen, Toy Story, Taste of Alaska and 'Til We Meet Again. There was no Golden Mickey's menu, so that's the one that got replaced. Sorry!

I missed dinner on the first rotation of Animator's Palate, I'm guessing there was a show I missed that night! Lol. That happened on my last cruise too, I need to try harder to get to dinner at AP on my next cruise! I don't have the souvenir menu from that night either :(

Animators Pallete is my least favorite menu, so that wouldn't bother me. I hope we end up there night 3 because that is when we will be in Palo. I would request it but I requested a specific server and that is more important to me than one night's menu. Thanks for all the info!

You're welcome. Sorry for the initial confusion. That's what I get for going off memory rather than actually looking. I *think* I actually assumed I'd had the Golden Mickey's menu, and never noticed until I reread my info that it wasn't!

Til we meet again is my favorite menu and I am looking forward to trying Taste of Alaska and Frozen.

There is an appetizer on the Frozen menu called Elsa's Coronation Scallops, which is scallops baked in a cream sauce and topped with pastry. That may have been the best single dish of the cruise for me, aside from the Grand Marnier Souffle at Triton's.
