Oh I love Princess! 
I went on my first cruise with them to Alaska 2 summers ago, and I absolutely loved it! The staff is amazing and they really went out of their ways to provide great service! We all felt like we were celebrities for a week. They charge you gratuity everyday so you don't have to individually tip your servers etc., but we gave them a lot of extra tips because they were that good! Alaska is also so breathtaking so no matter what cruise line you book, I am sure you'll love it! We went out of Seattle and had an "obstructed view" cabin, but it really wasn't and we could see out of our window just fine. However, if I ever go again, I would definitely pay extra for a balcony, it would be worth it!
