Alaskan cruise

We are cruising RC in August. We depart from Vancouver and disembark in anchorage. We are looking for a recommendation for a place to stay in Vancouver the night before we cruise and then when we hit Anchorage the plan is to head to Denali for a few days. Can anyone recommend best way to get there and a nice place to stay?

I hope you realize that your cruise ends in Seward, and that's about 3 hours from Anchorage. You could spend the day in Seward and take the train to Anchorage in the evening, as it's a very scenic ride. To get to Denali, I suggest you rent a car and drive. Thanks for information. We did see the itinerary ends in Seward/Anchorage, but didn't realize quite what that meant. Thanks for clarifying. Will look into recommended hotels.
