Alaskan Cruise "seasons"

I did a search and did not find this info. We are looking to do teh Alaskan Cruise in August 2006. Does anyone know what "season" that is (peak, low, std etc..) I've contacted MS, but I have a feeling my DIS DVC network will probably get back with me faster! TIA!

They usually start mid-May and run to mid-September. July and August are the best times to go as the weather is a little more cooperative and depending on your itinerary...you can see more glaciers calving. It's a wonderful place to cruise and has always been one of our favorites.
