Just found this board. Going on our first cruise and wanted it to be a disney cruise with my family of four, two daughters ages 10 & 12. In laws,and cousins girl & boy ages 5 & 8. So excited for the expierience and seeing Alaska!

We're going on a July cruise, but I'm interested in doing the Musher's Camp and Sled Dog Experience as well as the Klondike Rock Climbing and Rappelling while we are in Skagway. Would someone please look at the excursions for your cruise and see if they can both be booked based on the length of time we are in port or if I have to choose just one? Thank you.

We will be in port 12 1/2 hours, so you should be able to do both. Our window to book our Port Adventures opens at the end of March and we can find out for you then.

That adds up to 10 staterooms participating, which means Group 1 of the FE has been closed and Group 2 is now open.

@KipperBun My stateroom is 8010 my sisters is 8008. I have a few questions, we have never participated in fish extenders, do we exchange gifts everyday? are there any other rules?

In general the only FE rule is that you have to include all of the cabins on your group list. Some people do individual gifts for each person in the room, some do "cabin" gifts for the adults and individual gifts for the kids or the special occasions. Definitely don't need to exchange gifts everyday (that would be a crazy amount of deliveries to make!). Some folks drop everything off at once, others break it up over a couple of days, just depends on what you want to do, and what works for your schedule. There are a ton of good threads on the main Cruise Line forums page you can search that cover what people have done in the past, gift ideas, etc. The main thing is to have fun with it!

Lindy I am totally impressed that you're almost done! I have a box of stuff that I have been collecting since we first booked but have done nothing with - I keep saying I am going to sit down and sort through it all and put together a game plan one of these evenings, but it just hasn't happened yet.

Lindy, you are a wizard! The planning is all done for our room's gifts but there is still a lot of crafting to be done.

@Rio McCarthy and I worked on the fish extender itself a fews month. I still need to finish it; the dowel needs to be cut and the ribbon needs to be added. Here is a progress shot:

Rio did all of the hard work, though. She is a master at the sewing stuffs. Feel free to share your Fish Extenders, too. It may also help with identifying them when it is time to distribute the goodies!

That fish extender is soooo cute! I took the easy route an ordered one. It has piglet for me and eeyore for Jerry, so funny! But yours is way more awesome, nice work!
