I think out of the ones offered one of them starts with our cruise date, I would like to hire someone independent, but we are there for such a short amount of time, it makes me nervous.

Which one start with our date?

I thought about booking things outside of Disney, but it makes me so nervous, that I think I am just going to suck it up and pay the price.

When you post on our thread here & your post ends with the #00 (yours was 1300) you earn as least one pirate in the game we're playing. If your post ends in 00 & it's a multiple of 500 then you earn 2 pirates for that post (like post 1500 will be coming up soon & would earn you 2 pirates if you're lucky enough to snag it. Then If your post ends in 00 & it's a multiple of 1000, (like 2000), you would earn 3 pirates instead of just 1 or 2 pirates. Does that make sense?

Earning a Swan (Elizabeth Swan) is similar, but instead of the post ending in 00, you earn ES's by your post ending in 99.

In post #1 there are some ground rules for the Pirate/Elizabeth Swan game.

I heard a rumor that there will be prizes for the winners. Win or not it's just a fun thing to do & sometimes we even win an ES or Pirate without even realizing it because we get so involved talking Disney. Oops, I better be careful because - I resemble that remark.

That will be me tomorrow....used my DVC points for one cabin and the boys I have to pay off tomorrow through Dreams unlimited...so I can get the Disney rewards visa $50 and $100 from DU.

I always do but wait a little bit longer because the closer we get the cheaper it is.....but of course the more chance we take. I usually wait to pay it off the last day of the full refund. Only because I dont usually use points and usually wait till last minute than get insurance making the insurance cheaper. But when you pay it off sooner....that you have to get the insurance just in case...and farther out cost more than closer in....

but since I have already commited pur points...there is not going back now.

Ok dumb question, but do we have to pay off our cruise with DU by a certain date like way before the balance due date to get the stateroom credit? We have the money set aside, but I figure I might as well get a little interest on it instead of giving it to Disney early.

I think we are going to do the Disney Exclusive Dog Sledding, the Panning for Gold with Disney Characters and then the Crab Fishing Boat excursion. I added them up and OUCH! But it is a once in a lifetime thing, so might as well do it good, can't die with it!
