Beautiful!!!!!:goodvibes

Ellen, as always a sensational picture. Can't wait to see the rest!

Nice pictures...is this a point and shoot camera or a fancy camera?! I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my current point and shoot before our July cruise.

I have 2 cameras:
1 - Canon EOS Rebel (SLR, 2006 - newer versions have video, this one does not)
2 - Canon D10 (PnS, underwater, 2009 - has video capabilities - impact resistant - I take it into conditions that might harm the SLR - like sailing, beach, etc)
The pictures you have seen so far are the SLR, as I have not uploaded / downloaded / uploaded the PnS yet - as a matter of fact, I have only uploaded a few SLR pictures. I will try to notate when a picture is PnS so you can evaluate for yourself....

Here is PnS as we exit Vancouver:

When I originally saw the prices of excursions I thought we might just wander around town. That said, we ended up doing (a) helicopter to glacier, (b) floatplane to Misty Fjords and (c) White Pass train UP mountain, got off at Fraser Pass and biked down (alpine, subalpine and temperate coastal rainforest) - about 1.5 hour and 1.5 hour down - more details when I get to the chronological portion of this trip report - which starts after pictures are uploaded (about half done). Willing to answer questions in the meantime!

We too are doing the train up and bike down. I can't wait to hear about it!

I love your pictures! Thanks for posting. Can't wait till we are on the Wonder in July.

We are going on the June 28th cruise to Alaska. We have booked the float plane to Misty Fjords. My kids, 14 & 11, really want to do this one because it lands on the water and you can get out on the floats. Is this the one you did? Is it worth it?
