If all agree, the FE list is officially closed so everyone can finalize their ToDo list. It is still possible to get upgraded so check your ressi online every couple of days. I'll keep updating our list till the 20th. I like the idea of leaving messages on a dry erase board for last minute room changes. The previous poster agreed to put one on their door.

Many people seem to be asking for upgrades at the port. How does this work? Do you pay more for the fancier room, I'm guessing?

There are some threads on this topic, but here is what I understand.

• You will go through check in.
• After check in, ask for the managers desk to check availbilty for upgrades. The manager is the only one who keeps track of stateroom changes.
• Availablity changes throughout the course of opening check through till closing depending on the number of requests and cancellations.
• They will let you know what the cost difference will be from say a Cat 9C to 5A. The cost difference is based on what you paid at the time of your booking.
• If at the time of your booking, there was an $800 difference between Cat 9C to 5A, you will pay approx 50% of the cost or possibly less.
• Even if you get upgraded by DCL before sailing and you decide you want to still upgrade further, the difference will be based on what you booked.
