I always eat early dinner. I just think that late dinner is so late.

However, my travel agent recommends late dining for Alaska because of us not having to be onboard until 7:45 on two nights.

Have those of you who have cruised Alaska stayed off the ship that late? What do you recommend?

we did the early seating and had no issues getting back to the ship. Even if you did the late seating, if you stay ashore, you will miss the show (if you care).

We had plenty of time to do excursions. We even did 2 in one day, and got back with no issues. One night we did not change for dinner and went right to the dining room.
